Love your blog. The best part of today was having some “me time”. Quiet time to reflect. My husband passed away a month ago from cancer. His poor heart finally gave in. I need the time to contemplate and relax. And to grieve, alone.
    Peace, Becky Johnson

The best thing to happen to me today is the fact that I woke up healthy & painfree. But once I got out of bed I would have to say today is great because it is a rainy, gloomy, chilly fall day and I have been able to stay in my pj’s and play in my scrap/stamp space ALL day !

  30. Thanks so much for the awesome chance at the give away. Not to be corney or anything, but really the best thing to happen to me today was when I spoke to my 19 year old son away at college! He has had some difficulty with school and other personal issues, changed colleges twice, had issues with choosing the “not so nice” types of kids to hang around with and paid the price for it….well today after a looong emotional road that has felt like an absolute roller coaster…I can see that he is making good decisions, is settled in a school he now loves, is surrounded by “good people” and is finally happy! 🙂 That truely is a wonderful thing!

    🙂 Christine

The best thing that happened to me today? That’s easy! I made it to the 7-mile mark today! Woohoo! You see, I am training for my first half marathon and I have never run farther than a 10k (and that was a looooong time ago! ;)). I have been building up to the 13.1 miles I will have to run in mid November and today I made it a full 7 miles! It was a totally “high” moment for me.

The best thing for me today was helping my grandson make his “Rocket Dude” costume. A few days ago he drew an emblem and colored it with markers. (He loves Grandma art room!) Today we scanned it and transferred it to a red t-shirt and he improvised the rest from his closet. Fun!
