New products and another giveaway

Welcome back.  This is fun giving stuff away.  Making people smile is contagious. 🙂

So, today, I thought I would hook ya up with some goodness from Stampin' Up.  I love Stampin' Up.  Why?  Many reasons.  A big one?  Because they create new stamp addicts everyday.  They go into people's homes and share the love of stamping.  Can't get much better than that.  And, their stamps are made in the US, like many of my other favorite stamp companies (Hero Arts, A Muse, Stampers Anonymous, etc.)

Here are a couple cards I created with some of their new products from their summer mini catalog.    These hearts make my heart pitter patter.  They are cling ("clear mount") stamps.  (Did you know they have those now?) The border of words is actually part of a Jumbo Builder Wheel set.  (Which, by the way, I am giving away below!)  You just load it up on a roller and roll onto the card for a fun border…

Supplies: Stampin' Up stamps (I {Heart} Hearts, Itty Bitty Shape heart, Whimsical Words greeting, Thoughtful Friend Wheel) and heart punch; EK Success border punch; Hero Arts inks and notecard and pearls and flower; Neenah white paper; Rock Candy Distress Stickles (center of flower)

Here is another super simple card I did with a new set from Stampin' Up.  The cool thing about these Itty Bitty BIts stamps is that they have Itty Bitty Shape punches that are the perfect size for them.  So cool.  However, I decided to make my circles bigger and use a 1/2" circle punch instead…

050410 SU 2 JenMcGuire Supplies: Stampin' Up stamps (Itty Bitty Shape heart, Whimsical Words greeting), inks and punches;  Hero Arts notecard; Neenah white paper; White embossing powder; Versamark

So… that first card used a wheel to stamp the border.  Stampin' Up has new builder wheels that lets you stack one, two or three wheels together on one jumbo handle to create great backgrounds.  Well, I have a set for you!  This includes everything you need to get creating.

Just leave a comment here by Sunday the 9th at 11:59pmEST telling me if you are a cardmaker, scrapbooker or both… and you may win these goodies

See you tomorrow with another giveaway.  Remember to comment on Monday and Tuesday's posts too if you haven't yet.

Take care.

  1. I’m definitely more of a card maker. I’ve been stamping for over 12 years. I was inspired by the second card in this blog post to create my own version yesterday. I like yours more!

Thanks for a chance to win some goodies, Jennifer!

  2. i am happy to be able to do both scrapbooking pages and cards. the scrappy stuff was first, but inevitably it led to so much more, including making cards. and thank you for all your videos, etc….i have learned a lot, a good thing! and thank you for the giveaway!

  3. I do more scrapbooking than cardmaking, but definitely a bit of each. I need to set aside time every couple of months to make a bunch of cards so I can be stocked up when I need them.

  6. I consider myself both a cardmaker & scrapbooker. But I’ve just gotten started on card making & I haven’t done much scrapbooking recently, so I’m not sure if I count as either. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!

  7. Just cards, though would love to scrapbook if I had the time. A friend is a Stamping Up rep and has shown me the catalogue. The roller stamps look fun – thanks for the chance to win.

  8. Beautiful cards, Jennifer! I started out as a scrapbooker, but I am more of a cardmaker now! I love to try it all!

  9. Love your creations. I started out scrapbooking and have since been bitten, maybe attacked is a better word, by the card making bug.

  10. Cute! I love Stampin’ Up but we don’t have anyone local who sells it. I’m gonna have to find somebody, ’cause these are adorable. Love those tiny stamps.

  11. Hello Jennifer

  12. Cool giveaway…I’ve wanted to try the stamping wheels but haven’t yet. I’m a cardmaker.

  13. I’m a scrapbooker, recently converted card maker. I love using all my scraps for cards. And you give me such wonderful ideas, Jennifer Ü

  14. I have a wheel and never use it… wow… now I think I’ll go see what I have.. what a concept… use something I already have… The cards are wonderful- love the border.

  15. this is my second comment, Please disregard my first because I forgot to mention I am a cardmaker.

  16. Cardmaker here! I am a newbie to the cardmaker/scrapbooking world. I have been doing this for barely a year now. I went to a Stampin’ Up party one Friday night, and hook, line and sinker! As they say, the rest is history. I have loved every min of it. I love this giveaway, as I do not own any of the Stampin’ Up wheels yet. I have used a friends, and loved it, but have not invested yet. Thank you for your inspiration for creativity. Love your videos, your ideas, and LOVE LOVE your craft space. It is a Scraper’s dream! Simply put- you are awesome!

  17. I am definitely an all around crafter… I love love cards… and do several a week…. but I always start doing several layouts… I also love altered projects and other paper crafts to keep myself busy!

  18. Scrapbooker first then added stamps. My first stamps were from stampin up. I saw them at a craft show. I have ink on my hands since. LOL thanks for all the giveways and being so inspiring!!!!

  19. I love your cards, and you inspire me so much with the cards that are so nice, but you can make even though you don’t have a lot of scrapbooking stuff.

  20. What a fun giveaway! I am a scrapper and a sometime card maker. Thanks for the inspiration. Your cards are beautiful!

  21. I’m both a card maker and a scrapbooker–pretty much anything with paper is fair game for me!

  22. Wow, it’s amazing how adorable a card can be using just a few simple embellishments and some great color. I’m brand new to papercrafting — since January, so about five months now. I make cards, but I’d like to get into scrapbooking someday. I don’t have any stampin’ up products, and these are great. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  23. As a self proclaimed paper addict, I cannot resist any paper crafting.. therefore, I am both a scrapper and card maker (among various other paper crafts) 😉

  24. Both! I ran a card-making group at my church for years and the love of that translates easily to scrapbooking!

  25. Both, and I go through spells, i just make cards for a couple weeks and then I will take a photo that I just can’t wait to scrap and switch over to scrapping for a couple weeks.

  26. I am both a cardmaker and a scrapbooker…they go hand in hand. I really try to make a page and immediately make a card with whatever is leftover….instead of trying a place to put all the leftover stuff….

  27. Started out as a scrapbooker, went to an SU party and was instantly hooked. Now I make all of my cards too. I love how you can make quick and easy cards and people are so touched and impressed when they receive them.

  28. I started out with making cards, then added scrapbooking to the mix. I’m just not able to do as much of either as I would really like. Thank you for the great ideas you offer here!

  29. I do both but mostly card making. thank you for the giveaway. loving the stamping up roller stamps.

  30. Well I do both, but I tend to make cards more than scrapbooks because I can actually finish them in less than an hour or two, unlike scrapbooking!! 😉

  31. Love Those Cards!!!!! I am a card maker, but have done a page or 2, hopefully I can soon be able to do an equal amout of both.

  32. Oh goodness, I am both. I love both, but find myself drawn to card making because it is faster. I love Stampin Up products! Fun!

  33. Wow! I am a cardmarker. Love the quickness of making cards and the joy in peoples face when they open them….

  34. I love Stampin UP, my rep lives right down the street for me. I am always going to her house for events. Fun, fun. I would love to win these goodies. Thanks.
