Sparkle and shine… in a simple way
Happy Monday? (Yikes.)
Wanted to share some super simple cards with you. Did a set for 2peas, and ended up adding a few more.
I used THIS same heart punch again to create a window in the front of the card. I then added lots of gems and pearls (see below) around the edge of the window… adding a touch of Glossy Accents so they stay put.
These are the ones I did for 2peas. I will be honest, I didn't do yellow because I "wanted to." Was at a retreat and all I had with me were the sunshine mixed accents (a great mix of yellow and orange). Wanted to do monochromatic – so it is what it is. But I actually like how cheery they are, so I am glad I did it. Oh, and one thing to check out – that card on the left – it is actually an orange notecard turned inside out. Love the splash of color on the inside!

You may know how much I love butterflies. THIS is a great one from Studio Calico. Made in US – woohoo. And I coated them in Glossy Accents so they shine. Used black thread for the antennae – an idea from Shari Carroll.
And HERE are the lovely mixed accents from Hero I used on these. Love that there are different shades, types (pearls and gems) and sizes all in one. Self-adhesive. There are lots of good colors.
