My new baby…

Yes, I have a new baby.

Let me introduce you to him.  Or her.  I am not sure.  But I do know I love her.  (Oh, wait, I guess she is a girl.)

Here she is…

62147
She is a beauty.

And, yes, she is just as good as my former love, the dearly departed Kokuyo Dot n Roller Adhesive.  I never thought I would find an adhesive to fill that void in my life.  But…

She goes on smoothly, is permanent, but also rubs away when you get it places you don't want it.  The refills pop in and out easily, and it never gets jammed.

She is wonderful.

Anyway, I was thrilled to see that it is for sale HERE.  Woohoo!  I have stocked up.  I LOVE this baby.

(And, if you get their newsletter, there is a free shipping code for orders over $50 – stock up!)

Just thought I would share.  I am so very excited!

(And, just to note: I am sharing this with you because I searched and searched and am happy to have found her.  This is not a paid advertisement or anything – nothing on my blog is.)

(Also ETA: Many of Tombow's adhesives look alike.  VERY much so.  Be very careful to get this one – it is the best.)

Off to get ready for CHA – leaving in the morning.

Take care.

  1. So you like it better than the creative memories adhesive? I’ve used that one and love it…why is the “new baby girl” so much better? πŸ™‚

  2. Jennifer, Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the time you just saved me. The Kokuyo Dot was also my fav, and I was sad when it went. Haven’t had time or luck shopping around . . . and now, I DON’T HAVE TO! U R THE BEST! πŸ™‚ Oh, and Scrapbookpal.com is a little cheaper, 4.99 with refills at only 2.99 and no shipping with a $25 order! They are SUPER fast shippers too! Don’t know anyone personally there, but have dealt with them many times and am a satisfied customer! Of course the TwoPeas selection of other great stuff and all the great ideas outshadows most other sites! I go back and forth! Thanks again for sharing!

  3. Thanks for sharing your new love with us. Pack rain gear for CHA. We’re having major rain storms this week here in Southern California. We’re on our third storm this week and we’re expected to have a couple more. Safe travels!

  4. Laughing my socks off, here – I’ve been using Tombow refillables for 6 or 7 years and I LOVE them. They’re so difficult to find in the UK, though. I used to have stamp business and sell them myself but I’m now coming to the end of my stashed supply – ooh-er! Nothing beats them for ease of use and simplicity of changing the refill πŸ™‚ So glad you found them!

  5. I have the same baby! I also like the removable version, too! Have fun at CHA – I wish I were going! I hope the weather gets better tomorrow! It’s been raining here in CA like ka-razy!!

  6. Jennifer

I have used these and like them. I need to get refills.
Thanks for the heads up about 2peas.

I hope you have a great weekend at CHA. Take a great
pair of shoes or boots. Love your feet now and they
    will thank you later.

  7. Jen -You have truly made me smile. Congratulations on your precious new “arrival” (hard to type with a straight face) Thanks for the recommendation.
    Travels Blessing for CHA.

  8. I have a removable Tombo…but I don’t like it very much. I do like their liquid glues.. maybe I will have to try this one. I like the fact that even though it is permanent it will rub off places you don’t want it. I need that kinda security in my adhesive….lol

  9. I am still crying because Kokuyo was by far my favorite. I have switched to Tombow based on your suggestion – love it just as much!!!!!! It is wonderful! I recommend Tombow in all my classes and people just love it. It rubs off where it is not needed. Thanks for always leading us in the right direction – – or should I say, enabling us!!!!!

  10. Jennifer, I could’ve told you about this adhesive! I’ve used it for ages and love it too!!! Have a great time at CHA! I’m looking forward to reading all about it when ya get back!!

  11. Jennifer, I could’ve told you about this adhesive! I’ve used it for ages and love it too!!! Have a great time at CHA! I’m looking forward to reading all about it when ya get back!!

  13. To bad I didn’t know that sooner I could have shipped you the 3 I just tossed!!! I can’t stand this roller it always falls apart on me. Happy to hear someone likes it. Have a great time at CHA… I soooo wish I could go and peek at all the goodies!!!

  14. Thanks for the headsup on this. A group of craft store owners and instructors had researched this when you did and came up with the same information. So, I bought one and some refills. I bought mine from Scrapbookpal.com Their price is a little more than the Two Peas price but…………it is always free shipping on orders over $25 and they usually are comparable or better in price. If the one you are showing is 62147 then Scrapbookpal sells it for $4.99

  15. Is this the same style housing as the mono? I wonder if these refills would fit in the mono? Hmmmm…. makes me wonder???? Thanks for sharing this news! I love the mono, but don’t like how it gets jammed up and “gunky”!

  16. Oh, thank you! I have stocked up on the Kokuyo refills hoping that someone would lead me to the next best thing. Of course, it is you! Thanks so much.

  17. Haha, this so makes me laugh. My supply of my most favoritest adhesive by Kokuyo is dwindling and I have yet to find (or really, bring myself to look for) a replacement. May have to give this a whirl…

    Travel safely!

  18. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m down to my last couple of refills of Kokuyo Dot n Roller. Have fun at CHA! Will you be at the consumer part of the show also? I’ll be there on Saturday and would love to meet you.

  19. well we are alike…my fav was yours …so this will be my new fav…I already have it and am liking it ALMOSt as much as our other fav:) ty for the heads up on the sale too! xo

  20. Ooh, I use the Tombow tape runner and it tends to wrinkle when I don’t press down really hard…I’ll have to try this one. Thanks so much for sharing. BTW, for all you Kokuyo lovers out there, http://www.jetpens.com sells the Kokuyo rollers and refills (just look under Asian office). I was this close on buying that the other day. Thanks again, Jennifer, love your blog.

  21. Your new baby is so cute and in my favorite color. TFS!!! Jennifer. Have fun at CHA. This time of year is always so exciting and the anticipation of waiting for the new releases is so much fun. : D

  22. I used the Tombow Mono Permanent Runner last year at CKC. I bought 10 refills for 4 album classes and all of those are falling apart now. I’ve switched to the ATG tape. I even use it without the gun when I don’t want to lug it with me. I just put down what I need, cut it with my exacto and peel off the tape.
