So much to share… and giveaway!

Can you believe Christmas is only 10 days away?  Eek.  I fell like we got shortchanged only have 3 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🙂

But, I have lots to share.  And as a reward for listening, I have a giveaway.

First, many of Hero Arts stamps are now available in stores!  Woohoo!  Here are two online stores I know that have tons of it: 2Peas and StampinTreasures.  You can buy the whole catalog there, too.  The stamps available now are only the ones that were part of the Catalog Debut. There will be more new ones coming out at the beginning of January!

And since Hero stamps are made in the USA, we know they will be available on time and rarely on backorder. :)

Wanna see my faves?

Come on… aren't they too cute??

Great stuff, huh?  Watch those wallets. 🙂

Also!  I am the blogger this week on Hero's blog HERE.  Please come say hi and tell Kelly Goree how much we love having her on our blog.  She is a gem.  A true sweetie. We are doing some fun things with sketches… with lots of prizes for this week's challenge.  Today we used new hero stamps and BG papers.  Here is another card I did with my scraps/reject pieces…

Hearts
Supplies:
Hero Arts Pattern Hearts and Thank You
Basic Grey Bittersweet papers and buttons
White embossing powder
Versamark
Black Memories Ink
Hero Arts Pearls
Fiskars border punch

OK… giveaway talk.  I have a bunch of things to pass along.  And thanks to a donation to help with shipping, I will be giving a lot away between now and Christmas.  I would say that there will be a giveaway every single day, but I fear I may miss a day.  :)  So lets just say there will be many – so keep coming back.  Today's is a small one but a good one.  Just leave a comment on this post by Thursday at 11:59pmEDT telling me if you have sent your holiday cards yet (if you are sending them) and I will pick a random winner of these two BasicGrey rub-ons.  (I love them!)

Give

And… no… I haven't even recieved my card order.  And I have to add to them.  And address them.  And mail them.  And finish my sister-in-laws cards.  And address them.  And mail them.  Eek. 🙂

Off to work!  Night. 🙂

No, I have not yet sent my cards. I still need to stamp the inside message, write notes in them, address them and then I can think about mailing them. Gee, I’d better get to work.

  2. Kelli Shea says:

I feel like I’m ahead of the game by having mine addressed 10 days before Christmas! I haven’t sent them but they will be out the door very soon.

My holiday cards were all mailed out the day before Thanksgiving. Although, I have to admit, they were store bought this year. *oops!*

  4. Beth says:

No.. I am so bad. I made them in October. I will probably end up handing them out. 🙂

  5. Kristin Kottwitz says:

My cards are done. But won’t go out in mail until tonight. I have to go to post office and get stamps. Of course I dispise going anywhere near the post office during this time of year. But I have to do what I have to do. Tis the season, right?

  6. Julie Goldovitz says:

I just finished making my cards yesterday. I will send them later this week after I take our annual picture of the kids, using the mall decorations as our backdrop, on wed.

I have done 3/4 of mine and about 1/3 of my sister’s and Mom! Yikes, I agree w/ you Jennifer!!!

  8. Brianna says:

I’ve sent most of them out. There are only about 5-10 more to address, for the ones I’ve finally gotten addresses for and then a few that need envelopes since I ran out of those. I scrapbooked mine on Adobe Photoshop and sent them out as one big picture! SO fun!

  9. Liz says:

I made my cards back in November because I knew I would inevitably run out of time. I printed my photo strips on Sunday night, addressed and wrote in the cards yesterday, and sent them out in the mail today 🙂

  10. Amy A. says:

Nope! I haven’t even sent the family picture in for prints 🙁 I’m way behind!

  11. Kelly Jo says:

I have my cards created in my head, just not on paper. That is the goal for today!!! LOL….it might help if I get off the computer.

  12. MaryEllen says:

Jennifer you are not the only one not having your cards out. I have had too many interuptions. It seems like everytime I set out to work on them something happens. Maybe I should just act like I am at work. Plus my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday was yesterday and that was fun but just before Christmas makes it hard to get everything done. I just need to be a better planner.? Anyone who has trouble with planning or is a procrastinator like me should check out FlyLady.com for some tips. Marry Christmas:)

  13. Angela S says:

I amazingly enough got my cards put together and sent out the first week in December – there is a first for everything! It’s been nice not having to ‘hustle & bustle’ to squeeze that one more thing into an already busy holiday season!

    Merry Christmas!

  38. Joyce M says:

Nope, haven’t sent them yet, in fact haven’t finished making them yet. My husband has been awesome this year though. He’s off work for a few days and it’s too cold here to do anything outside, so he has decorated our tree, decorated the outside of the house and has gotten the envelopes ready for the cards, so all I have to do is finish them (they are all cut out, just need to be assembled), sign them and get them in the envelopes that he as labeled already. I would have been a mess without his help

  41. Michelle W. says:

I have most of them made, and about a fourth of them sent out today. Oh my poor mail man.The temperature here is about 4 F, and it has been snowing all day. A good day to stay in and finish my cards:)

  42. Christina says:

All my cards are mailed – yay! I got them out earlier than ever this year; now I can just sit back and enjoy the season. Thanks for all the giveaways- you’re too sweet!

  43. Melissa says:

I have put together my Christmas cards (Becky Higgins kit) but that’s about it. My visitors just left and it’s snowing so I’m hoping I can sit down for awhile this afternoon and get them addressed. The mood is right!

  44. kristina says:

Oh my! Those new stamps are just BEAUTIFUL! Love them! I think your favorites are my favorites, too! Hee hee! Love that card you made and I am really enjoying the Hero Arts blog this week, Jennifer! It’s no surprise though because I’m always inspired there! Thanks so much and good luck with the cards! I thankfully got mine out yesterday, but they are super duper simple. 😉 Hugs!

  45. Megan says:

I am personally not sending out Christmas Cards. I have had no time to think let alone get address from everyone. But on the other hand, I just mailed out cards yesterday for my company. I also made a bunch of cards and treats for my ward Christmas party. So I am just going to say yes to that question. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

  46. Valerie says:

My cards went in the mail yesterday!

  47. Yes, I sent my cards out the day after Thanksgiving. I send out 120 homemade cards each year. I like to give myself some extra time just in case an address is wrong and gets sent back to me. This way, I can look up the new address and resend the card before Christmas.

  48. Sarah says:

UUGGHH!!! Nope- still have the cards! I am thinking of sending New Years cards instead… Trying to think outside the box- at least a little bit!
Thanks for the chance at the give-away!

I just got my photo cards yesterday so I’m hoping to spend the next couple evenings addressing envelopes while I watch tv.
