So much to share… and giveaway!

Can you believe Christmas is only 10 days away?  Eek.  I fell like we got shortchanged only have 3 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🙂

But, I have lots to share.  And as a reward for listening, I have a giveaway.

First, many of Hero Arts stamps are now available in stores!  Woohoo!  Here are two online stores I know that have tons of it: 2Peas and StampinTreasures.  You can buy the whole catalog there, too.  The stamps available now are only the ones that were part of the Catalog Debut. There will be more new ones coming out at the beginning of January!

And since Hero stamps are made in the USA, we know they will be available on time and rarely on backorder. :)

Wanna see my faves?

Come on… aren't they too cute??

Great stuff, huh?  Watch those wallets. 🙂

Also!  I am the blogger this week on Hero's blog HERE.  Please come say hi and tell Kelly Goree how much we love having her on our blog.  She is a gem.  A true sweetie. We are doing some fun things with sketches… with lots of prizes for this week's challenge.  Today we used new hero stamps and BG papers.  Here is another card I did with my scraps/reject pieces…

Hearts
Supplies:
Hero Arts Pattern Hearts and Thank You
Basic Grey Bittersweet papers and buttons
White embossing powder
Versamark
Black Memories Ink
Hero Arts Pearls
Fiskars border punch

OK… giveaway talk.  I have a bunch of things to pass along.  And thanks to a donation to help with shipping, I will be giving a lot away between now and Christmas.  I would say that there will be a giveaway every single day, but I fear I may miss a day.  :)  So lets just say there will be many – so keep coming back.  Today's is a small one but a good one.  Just leave a comment on this post by Thursday at 11:59pmEDT telling me if you have sent your holiday cards yet (if you are sending them) and I will pick a random winner of these two BasicGrey rub-ons.  (I love them!)

Give

And… no… I haven't even recieved my card order.  And I have to add to them.  And address them.  And mail them.  And finish my sister-in-laws cards.  And address them.  And mail them.  Eek. 🙂

Off to work!  Night. 🙂

    I am in denial!! Christmas is not 10 days away…it can’t be just 10 days away. And since I’m in this state of denial, I have not sent ANY Christmas cards. (-;

Yes, I’ve sent out my cards – all 90+ of them, and handmade too (why, oh why, don’t I ever make things simple for myself this time of year??).

  12. Becs says:

I agree it’s all going too quickly. I did however post my first batch of cards yesterday (just 5 of them…lots more to send!). I’ve been making them for months, which is the fun part, but have been dragging my heels on writing in them & posting them (not as much fun!). Hope you manage to get yours done on time. Love what you’ve done on the Hero blog today & your card here today…the colours in that new BG paper are yummy!

Please don’t tell me we haven’t seen all the new HA stamps!! I’m already going to be in a heap of trouble!

I’m loving the sketch week so far. You girls rocked today!

I’m so happy about the scrapbooking category too… I’ve been neglecting the kids books since the HA blog started and in the last week I’ve done 5 layouts. 🙂

Ive got my cards out… just have to do the ones for friends from church – will put them in their mail slots on Sunday.

Hope yours get back to you soon!

  24. alisa Logue says:

Ugh, I hate to admit it but I have not yet mailed out my Christmas cards. Some girlfriends and I were supposed to be getting together last week to work on them and I ended up staying home miserable with a cold. It came earlier this year right?! Merry Christmas to you. -Alisa

  34. Alis in Wnderlnd says:

I designed our card in photoshop (more than 2 weeks ago!) and uploaded it to Shutterfly just this past Saturday night. I just got the email that it has been shipped. DH bought stamps, and now we just have to sign them, address them, stamp them, and mail them. this is the latest I have ever been. The 3 weeks have definitely stumped me!

those rub-ons look so pretty, and the stamps; how exciting!

  35. jana says:

  40. Janis says:

I have made a ton of cards for Christmas but have managed to only write in one. Still have to address the envelope and mail. A lot of my cards I will hand directly to people….saves postage! Everyone of my cards is hand made….I don’t think I have bought a card from a store in over 4 years!!

I love these rub-ons and I can’t wait to check out all the new Hero Arts stamps……I think I need to lock the wallet away and give some else the combination.

    Janis

I am so horrible when it comes to Christmas cards. I still have the ones from last year, sealed and addressed just never made it to the post office. It has been so hard ever since we moved to Florida and all our family is in Ohio we just run out of time sooner than norm to do things.

  50. Jen D. says:

Unfortunately, my plans this holiday season are a little loftier than I think I can pull off. I just found out I am pregnant with my third and I am so sick. I am just hoping to finish my shopping sometime this week when the weather warms up. 🙂 Enjoy the holiday season.
