  1. I love this video. I struggle with perfectionism in my crafting so I love to see that I am not alone. Thank you so much.

  2. I love this video. Not only the products you highlighted, but also the mistakes you made. Thank you! It made you seem quite normal to me and how my cardmaking often goes!!!

  3. Jennifer, thanks for keeping it real! Crafting doesn’t always go how I planned and I know I forget sometimes that it’s not just me because the videos make it look like everything goes perfectly. It’s more important to remember WHY we craft, right? It’s my therapy, plus I hope it lifts the people up that I send the cards to.

    1. Your mistakes made me giggle because..boy howdy I’ve done my share of those mistakes. I was making a very special graduation card and it went together crooked, so I began trimming and ended up snipping part of the main front! I then had to walk away and think how I could fix it without starting over. I came back the next day and was able to make the mistake blend in and never noticed. I’ve learned that for me, the best thing to do it just stop and try not to have a mini crafters tantrum. Usually when I’m in a hurry I tend to make more goofs, so walking away gives me time to slow down and do a reassessment of the project. I’m sure we’ve all had our moments of feeling all thumbs at times!
Thanks Jennifer for reminding us you have an edit button. 😊

  4. Jennifer, Thank you, thank you, thank you for your honesty about your struggles and reminder that many things can be covered up!

  5. Thank you Jennifer for showing us that even the best crafters get frustrated and make mistakes! For me it is refreshing to see someone not edit out mistakes (which implies perfectionism) but rather shows us how to correct or hide mistakes and resurrect projects which is incredibly valuable.

  6. Hi Jennifer
I watch all your video and always enjoy them. This one I think was the best because it resonates so much. I do struggle a lot and look for perfection. I make lots of mistakes and lose tools (usually found days later). Thankyou so much. I had a good giggle. Made my day

  7. Thank you again Jennifer for your honesty. We learn so much from your crafting being continually inspired by your work and thought process. But it’s how sincere and kind and encouraging you are that makes you so special and worth following. I really appreciated your message today and also previous insights you’ve shared with us. Thank you so much for sharing your handmade kindness.

  8. It was so refreshing to see you make mistakes. It makes me feel better about all of mine and the fact that I am constantly frustrated because I cannot find something on my desk that I just used. Beautiful cards! Did you use the Altenew lower sticky mat? I looked it up , but it says it’s for paper and vellum and there is a higher stick met as well. Just checking..

  9. Perfect video and reality about crafting – mistakes are part of lifes and that is fine and o.k., because of this we are better crafters after some practices. Thanks.

  10. The best part of this video was seeing mistakes and learning how to adapt projects to overcome the mistakes. Thanks for being so forthright, honest and gracious. It was a real help.
