Hi! I just wanted to give you a quick update!

My sweet dog is recovering from her second surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. She is having a rough recovery, and I am staying by her as much as possible. Thankfully they got all the cancer this time, but the incisions are brutal. She will be ok though!

  5. I’m so sorry about your “baby” but glad they got it all. Pets have always been important to us, but we now live in an extremely rural area, so our pets have become even closer “family members”! Best wishes for your fur baby.

  10. I hope your dog recovers quickly. You should be spending time with her as she’s family too and needs the comfort. From someone who slept on an air mattress to be with our dog when he was going through a rough time I fully understand.

  11. Praying that your sweet dog makes a full recovery anyone that has ever had pets can sympathize with you. Take all the time you need keep us updated on her recovery. I am just thankful that they were able to get it all this time, having been down this road myself with my cat years ago we lost her after only 12 years as very much loved family member.

  18. I am so sorry your puppy had to have surgery. Once was bad enough, but twice; my heart hurts for you, your family and your puppy.
    Pets are a. big part of my life so I know how much joy and heartache they can bring. I am hoping for a speedy uneventful recovery and a cure for the cancer.
    You have been a big part of my mental health these last several years and I truly thank you for sharing your wonderful talent and inspiration.

  19. Look after your baby. She will need all the love she can get during her recovery. I lost my sweet baby Yorkie this year to renal failure. She was 15. She gave as much love to us as we did to her. So pleased to hear that they have all the cancer from your sweet baby. Hugs to all of you. xx

  25. Jennifer, my prayers are with you. My dog, Tally, was just diagnosed with sarcoma on her front leg yesterday and we will be dealing with surgery on the 30th. Pets are so special in our families and so difficult to see them not doing well. I hope your dog does well and you can give comfort. I follow your blog all the time. Thank you for the “stepped up” techniques you share.

    Just a side note I had a follow up visit to my eye dr. today as I had a cataract removed and the nurse told me if I wanted to take a show and keep the water out of my eye to use “Press and Seal”. Another use of your husbands’ ideas.

  27. Jennifer, I hope you fur baby has a speedy recovery! Having had to put my own little guy to sleep last year (he was a month away from 17), I know how precious they are. I miss him every day still. They become part of your heart and soul. So hopefully all will be well with your pup.
