I have three things I love to do with cardmaking. First, I enjoy die cutting the most… especially arranging die cut scenes. Second, I LOVE to make many cards at once. And third? I enjoy stretching old supplies to use in new ways. In this video, I share tips for these three topics and much more. Be sure to watch!

Here are the cards from my video along with the main products featured. For the full supply list, scroll down to the thumbnails at the end of this post.

  1. Love everything you, and now Lila, do! Love your change it up tips, too!
One question: how do you keep the Gina K glue from clogging up? I keep mine upside down, but the next time I went to use it, nothing would come out. Squeezing my hardest was a waste of time.

Thank you, Jennifer! I also have to say how much I love listening to you when you get excited@

  2. Thank you Jennifer. You always come up with such unique ideas. I love making cards, but I’m not great at designing my own, so thank you so much fur all the ideas you give us.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas, and that you and yours stay healthy!

  3. What more can I say that I haven’t said before? I’m running out of adjectives!! LOL I just love how excited you get…warms my heart!! Such artful beauties!! Great job, Lila…you are becoming your mom-in-training!! Merry Christmas to you and yours, my friend!! YOU are BLESSING!!

  4. Merry Christmas, Jennifer! These are lovely. It’s such a warm thought to picture you and Lila working together at the kitchen table. I love the versatility of each of these but I especially love the floral easel cards as we look ahead to spring. They are so bright and hopeful. I’m thinking of Easter cards already!

  5. Lovely cards and these new easel dies are wonderful. Wish list here I come. Thanks for all you do. Happy Holidays!

  6. Wow, Jennifer, you hit it out of the ballpark on these cards! I LOVE bird die cuts and am excited to start making some springtime cards after the holidays. Great job! Thanks for sharing your passion and helping those of us who lack vision 😊

  7. Hello Jennifer, I really love this card. I appreciate all you do and the time it takes to make videos where you show us how we can get the most out of our dies. This house one is an excellent example. Makes me want to go through my dies & see what I can come up with. Your an inspiration. Be safe, have a most wonderful Holiday Season & TYFS!!

  8. Love all your cards as always, but especially love the cards you made with the bird house dies. In fact I love them so much I’ve had to amend my letter to Santa – AGAIN! Hope he gets it in time. 😆

Thank you for all the time you take to make your wonderful videos and for the inspiration you give us all. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and hoping that we have a much better 2021 than this year has been for everyone.

Lots of love from a very chilly Scotland, U.K.

P.S. – I’ve also had problems with my Gina K glue.

  9. These are amazing and right up the path I wanted to go with my new project. I am making cards for the Ronald McDonald house in my area, for the staff, to give to donors. A few house dies caught my eye, but nothing that really HIT it in the spot like the porch die! Very excited to get this die, just ordered. If I have enough in the budget next month definitely consider the house and bird house too! Both what I was thinking for this Ronald McDonald house!! And to make the house change with the season, uh – again – just what I was trying to put down on a card, and you just lit up that idea to reality for me! Thanks.

  10. So many ideas, those cards are so beautiful, and the new “tool”, what a great idea. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas. Thanks for all your teachings!! 🙂

  11. Thank you for this beautiful and techniques! Question: When do you use the Gemini junior and when do you use the Spellbinders platinum 6? Do you have videos of your favorite die cutting machines? I need to order one soon but can’t afford more than one! Thanks and Merry Christmas ❤

  12. With the limited movement I have right now, it would be so much easier to craft at the big farm house style dining table, but hauling everything back and forth is also a pain. That case may be just the ticket! So once again you were thinking outside the box, and solved a problem! Just like your spring card for winter ones. We don’t have winter here on the California coast. It always seems weird to send snowy cards. You solved that one, too! Thank you! Maybe after Christmas I can give some of these ideas a try, and AFTER Christmas is just this weekend! How did that happen so fast?!

  13. This video was amazing! I loved all the different ways you made the scenes, and that you used different companies dies all together! Such amazing cards. I am going to have to get one of these dies. Although, they are out of stock, so I added it to my list at SSS. I love dies more than stamps too, and I especially like shape or different type of cards you can create with dies.

  14. In your video you have a glue bottle stand. Where did you get it? I use a lot of glue on my cards and I can’t seem find one. Love the cards and the flexibility of changing the changing them for different seasons.

  15. I really hope that you realise just how much your videos mean to people and how much they are appreciated. There is so much work involved in all that you do and I am so excited every time I see a new post from you in my inbox. Thank you for all that you do for the crafting community and I am looking forward to many more videos in 2021

  16. Hi Jennifer,
I love all of your videos and find them so inspiring. I was wondering, when you mass produce cards, do you make a prototype first. I usually change so many things in my card design before I settle on a final project. I would hate to cut or stamp everything and then change my mind and not use them, or want a different color.
Your cards are always so gorgeous!
    Thank you!

  17. Belated Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you for sharing all of this information I am inspired. I especially loved the storage idea – that is me to a tee with the table full of creativity.
Once again thanks and Happy New Year
    Cheers
    Fay

  18. This was a GREAT post! I am interested in the extra heavy cardstock. In an attempt not to have too many kinds of white cardstock around, I would like to know if you have tried using Copic markers on the heavy cardstock. Do the inks blend as nicely as on Xpress it or Hammermill? Thank you for ALWAYS presenting informative and useful products and techniques.
