After spending so much time on my cards, I want to be sure they last when going through the mail. Therefore, I like to use the strongest adhesive possible. My new favorite? Tim Holtz Distress Collage Adhesive. It dries quick, is strong, inexpensive, and clear-and-matte-drying. I keep mine in a ultra-fine tip bottle, such as the Darice Ultrafine Tip Bottle, Quilled Creations Precision Tip Bottle, or Couture Creations Ultra Fine Tip Bottles.
To demonstrate the Tim Holtz Distress Collage Adhesive, I created several cards. The first uses the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkle Doy Pattern 1 Stamp Set and Lucy’s Cards Rainbow Jewels to create a colorful rainbow. The Pretty Pink Posh Sparkle Dot Pattern 1 Stamp Set is excellent for creating the dot pattern to follow! And a tiny dot of Tim Holtz Distress Collage Adhesive holds the gems in place.
I arranged my rainbow on an Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangle die cut and added two Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Clouds and a Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings sentiment.
For my next card, I stamped two Pretty Pink Posh Sparkle Dot Pattern rainbows to form an oval. I added Pretty Pink Posh Gold Confetti and Silver Confetti. These look like mini mirrors!
The sentiment is from the Pretty Pink Posh Holiday Greetings Stamp Set and I added a glitter Pink and Main Large Bow die cut bow.
Also using the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkle Dot Pattern Stamp Set, I created a heart filled with Kat Scrappiness Glitter Sequins and a few Studio Katia Silver Foil Jewels on top. The sentiment is from the Pretty Pink Posh Winter Wonderland Stamp Set.
Look at that sparkle!
This next card was such fun to make! I used the petal from the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkle Dot Pattern Stamp Set to create a jewel flower. Using the Jewel Picker makes it quick to pick up the gems and put them in place. Again, the sentiment is from the Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings Stamp Set.
If you want to save time, you could instead use a drop of Nuvo Drops in each spot, but I love the sparkle of these gems.
My last card shows how you can use Tim Holtz Distress Collage Adhesive to stack die cuts and to squeeze behind layered elements. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Wild Rose Stamp Set, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, and Tonic Aqua Shimmer Pens to create the flower and added a cluster of Studio Katia Onyx Black Jewels to the center.
The stacked Pretty Pink Posh Thank You Script die cuts are also covered with Tonic Aqua Shimmer Pens for shine.
Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, friends!
