New (and Favorite) Card Kit Giveaway!
Just popping in to give you a heads up that is worth sharing. Simon Says Stamp has their new card kit out and it is one of my favorites yet. Strike that – it IS my favorite yet. So adorable.

So I have a simple card I did with this kit that I wanted to share today. See that tree in the stamp set above? I turned it sideways to be a branch…
This was super easy to do. I stamped the tree in Soft Sand Ink and the leaves in Green Hills Ink. (Note that I masked off one of the branches to make it a bit smaller.) I then used Copic Markers to add a bit of shading and depth. I also used the markers to extend the branch a bit longer. (Cheating when it comes to stamping? Totally acceptable!) I stamped the bird with Fresh Peach Ink and added extra color… then cut him out and popped him in place.
It has cooled down BIG time here. Fall is coming! Can you believe it??
