My Favorite Things…

Hello.

You know I love to show you my favorite things here, right?

Well, one of my current favorite things is My Favorite Things. Yes, the company is perfectly named – My Favorite Things – and I am in love with their dies. They do make the most adorable stamps, but I wanted to talk about their fabulous yet inexpensive dies today. They are my new addiction… and they work with any die cut machine.

I used one of their dies to make this super fast, super cute felt flower here…

Just die cut the felt, roll around a paper piercer, flatten and adhere.

HERE is the adorable rolled rose die

Fun, huh?

Here are my other current faves that I have been using a lot lately. (You will be seeing them soon…)

THIS die also embosses (the red lines). Love faux buttons for non-bulky cards.

And I have a pair of cloud punches. But we need things in 3’s, right? 3 different size clouds? Yes! Or flat-bottomed clouds? Of course!

And, speaking of wanting-everything-in-3’s… this comes with three flowers and three leaves. Dreamy.

This one is clever: It makes your paper look like grosgrain ribbon…

My boss at Hero Arts always tells me that I am “heart picky” – I only like certain styles of hearts. And I love these

My Favorite Things also has die and stamp combo packs. This one is fun. I like that I can use the dies with the stamps for a perfect fit, or I can use any sentiment I want…

(And, as always, I wasn’t paid to say I like these products. I just truly do. 🙂 )

I have a great giveaway for you! I emailed with Kim over at My Favorite Things and told her how much I love her dies. And she included this set for me to giveaway. (Turns out she is as sweet as her dies and stamps.) So just leave a comment here by Friday at 11:59pmEST and I will pick a lucky winner of THIS die and stamp combo

Good luck.

  1. With 800 post to this site I won’t cross my fingers or anything when it comes to winning! Lol. But I do want to tell you that I love your card and love that flower very much. I am a big fan of yours and I was wondering if you have ever thought about coming to Eastern Canada to teach classes. If so I would be there so fast! Lol. Love all that you do here and for the “Cards For Kids” card drive. Thanks for picking my name and for sending me my Camera Strap! It is gorgeous!

  6. I absolutely love your card with the flower. Loved it so much in fact that I purchased the die. I have a question for you though, what exactly is the trick to making the flowers look so gorgeous? Mine look more like rolled blobs than flowers-lol! Which end do you begin rolling the flower from and how do you align the bottom? Thanks 🙂
