Scrapbooking? What is that?!

Hi!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Did a ton of catching up and a bit of falling behind. Seems that is the way it works.

Thought I would share a few old scrapbook pages for kicks.

This one was in a CK article on coloring. Those hearts are embossed with embossing folders and traced with colored pencils. The journaling goes down the edge of the layout on the right, but another layout was in the way. 🙂 Wish I would have gotten a better photo of this…

This one was for a Hero Arts catalog, but wasn't used. That is my grandparents on their wedding day. They were married 74 years before my Grandfather died.

I may have shared this one, but I just love those photos…

  1. My grandparents were married for 73 years before Nana died and my Pop is still living in their unit at 98. Your layout is gorgeous.

  2. Stunning layouts Jen, I always love to see Colin in your layouts, the camera just loves him and WOW! the layout of your grandparents wedding day, simply gorgeous.

  3. Love these pages, Jennifer! I try so hard to look at all the elements and stamping you use, but the photos of Colin definitely overtake everything else! Such a cutie! And what a special photo of your grandparents! The colors on that layout are so pretty!

  4. I am totally in love with the layout of your grandparents!! Your color choices are fabulous!! Amazing work!! ;D

  5. Oh!!! The layout of your grandparents is beautiful! I love your use of the BG stamps… and of course the Colin layouts are adorable as always!!!

I took the survey, and have to say, in addition to what I voted (equal scrapbook and cards) – I’m not sure if they are truly ‘equal’. I do both.. sometimes I get on a scrap-booking kick, then a card kick.. and then there is the ‘project’ kick! A whole ‘other’ category of making things with papers, stamps, inks, etc.

    Have a great day!

  6. Just love your scrapbook layouts! Thank you for sharing. The layout of your Grandparents is beautiful. Such memories for your family to have.
