New products and another giveaway

Hello!

Welcome back.  This is fun giving stuff away.  Making people smile is contagious. 🙂

So, today, I thought I would hook ya up with some goodness from Stampin' Up.  I love Stampin' Up.  Why?  Many reasons.  A big one?  Because they create new stamp addicts everyday.  They go into people's homes and share the love of stamping.  Can't get much better than that.  And, their stamps are made in the US, like many of my other favorite stamp companies (Hero Arts, A Muse, Stampers Anonymous, etc.)

Here are a couple cards I created with some of their new products from their summer mini catalog.    These hearts make my heart pitter patter.  They are cling ("clear mount") stamps.  (Did you know they have those now?) The border of words is actually part of a Jumbo Builder Wheel set.  (Which, by the way, I am giving away below!)  You just load it up on a roller and roll onto the card for a fun border…

050410 SU JenMcGuire
Supplies: Stampin' Up stamps (I {Heart} Hearts, Itty Bitty Shape heart, Whimsical Words greeting, Thoughtful Friend Wheel) and heart punch; EK Success border punch; Hero Arts inks and notecard and pearls and flower; Neenah white paper; Rock Candy Distress Stickles (center of flower)

Here is another super simple card I did with a new set from Stampin' Up.  The cool thing about these Itty Bitty BIts stamps is that they have Itty Bitty Shape punches that are the perfect size for them.  So cool.  However, I decided to make my circles bigger and use a 1/2" circle punch instead…

050410 SU 2 JenMcGuire Supplies: Stampin' Up stamps (Itty Bitty Shape heart, Whimsical Words greeting), inks and punches;  Hero Arts notecard; Neenah white paper; White embossing powder; Versamark

So… that first card used a wheel to stamp the border.  Stampin' Up has new builder wheels that lets you stack one, two or three wheels together on one jumbo handle to create great backgrounds.  Well, I have a set for you!  This includes everything you need to get creating.

Just leave a comment here by Sunday the 9th at 11:59pmEST telling me if you are a cardmaker, scrapbooker or both… and you may win these goodies…

See you tomorrow with another giveaway.  Remember to comment on Monday and Tuesday's posts too if you haven't yet.

Take care.

I’m a scrapbooker first, but am just starting to get into the whole card making thing – what a great way to express yourself, AND use up some of the scrap stash!

I love Stampin Up products when cardmaking. Thanks for the chance to win.

  5. Zarna says:

I used to call myself a scrapbooker, but I think I’m a cardmaker these days, cards are just so much faster (*sometimes*) than a whole layout, and the smaller canvas is sometimes just easier on the brain…

  6. Lauri says:

Great cards! I am a cardmaker quite by accident…I always seem to be lacking a card at a crucial moment, say 5 minutes before the kids need to leave for a birthday party. So I guess I have become a cardmaker out of my procrastination !

  7. Elizabeth Hawks says:

I’m both a scrapbooker and cardmaker. I started with scrapbooking, then began to make my Christmas cards, and it snowballed from there (no pun intended:). Now if I don’t give a handmade card to someone who knows me well, they consider it an insult.

I started scrapbooking before stamping but am addicted to both. I find it rewarding to make a quick card after finishing a scrapbook layout. I love the creativity of doing the pages but the quick gratification of the cards. Both are rewarding when other people enjoy them.

Well, I love calling myself a
    scrapbooker, but I make

    a few a week. And when I
    find a few minutes
    to scrapbook, it’s
    usually digitally.

I am both a cardmaker and a scrapbooker. With three small kids, I really need to catch up on my scrapbooking the most!

  35. I have been a SU fan for years! I
scrapbook and make cards. I think
the two go hand in hand. I use alot
of my scraps from scrappy projects to
    make cards!

  36. GinnaG says:

Hey Jennifer. Love your blog. Check it EVERYDAY!!!!
I started out a scrap booker (still am) but I discovered that card making is it for me. I love the smaller area and use all kinds of stuff for my cards. One of my secret weapons for card making is mat stacks from KI. Size of paper and the smaller size of the print make it perfect for card making.

  37. What a fabulous giveaway, thank you for the chance. I stamp on everything, I’m a cardmaker and a scrapper!!

  38. Holly says:

Card maker and use tons of Stampin’ Up products. Thanks for another great giveaway!!!

  39. Nicole S says:

I am a cardmaker and a want to be scrapbooker 🙂

  40. dotukas says:

I´m a cardmaker and honestly I haven´t made any scrapbook pages just because in our country (Estonia)anyone makes them. There are only albums and you just put pictures to album. We have no such traditions. To be honest itś quite difficult to be a cardmaker too because there is just few craft stores and what you get there is far away you want to buy. I buy all from online stores from US. Thank God in Estonia is the best internet availability in the world.

  41. joann says:

Thanks for the chance to win one of my favorite products – a wheel! I’m a card maker who makes a different card for all 13 of my grandchildren for all occasions (holidays, birthdays, making the regionals/state in sports, winning the regional/state in sports, dance recitals, you name it).

  42. Elizabeth D says:

I am definitely both a cardmaker AND a scrapbooker. I started out as a scrapbooker only and got into Stampin’ Up and started making cards and incorporating stamping into my scrapbooking. The products you’re giving away look so neat (I don’t have them)! Thanks for the opportunity!!

  43. Beth says:

My go to supply are the MM journaling books that are spiral bound! I am in a total rut!
    Enjoying your inspiration!
    Beth

  44. Amy B. says:

It’s funny – I started out wanting to scrapbook, took a few classes and bought tons of supplies….but could never find the time to really sit down and get into it. One day I needed a card at the last minute, no time to go to the store and thought ‘hey, I have all these cool supplies, I could MAKE a card!!’ Voila, a card maker was born!! I love making cards because I can finish one in a short period of time. Still need to work on those scrapbooks!!

LOVE those cards and the giveaway. Thanks so much!
