More canvas goodness…

Yes, Sticky Back Canvas is one of my current loves.

Here is another bit of proof.

I first tore the edges of a piece of Sticky Back Canvas and kept in on the release paper.  I stamped the image with embossing ink and heat embossed in white.  Then, I stuck it temporarily to my Craft Sheet.  (This is a great way to hold it still and decorate it before peeling off and sticking to your project.) Next – loaded with TONS of Distress Ink.  I folded up a piece of extra fabric to slightly smaller then the canvas and stuck it behind it.  Put this on the card and sewed around the edges.  I love doing this – it creates a pillow-like front.  Next – embellish like crazy…

And, many of you have emailed me and said you like when I share my favorite tools and products.  Well, I am thrilled that 2Peas now has my favorite scissors in stock.  (I have given away all my others.)  These cut through metal and ribbon and haven't dulled on me.  Non-stick.  Soft handles that don't make your hands sore.  No need for multiple pairs.  They make me so happy.  I have pairs all over my house – Colin loves them too…

Also, I started a place where you can go ask me questions.  I will be quicker to respond there than email (can you say 793 unread?) so be sure to pop over there.  Click HERE to find it.

I am off to try to stay warm in all this snow and wind.  Eek!  Night. 🙂
