  1. Thank you for testing all the new products that flood the market. I appreciate your honest and experienced opinions.
I cannot wait for my Grip Mats to arrive! Believe me, I need all the tools that will improve my results! 🙂

ps- do you believe the tsunami you created by introducing us to “sticky mats”?

  2. Thanks, Jennifer! I always find it helpful to get your opinion on new tools. I was intrigued by the new grip mats but was having trouble deciding which size to start with as I experiment. I was already in love with the postal collage collection and love the cards you made with them.

  3. Cute cards and I am really impressed with these mats and other tools. Going to get the biggest one right now. Thanks

  4. I don’t think I understand the purpose of putting the grip mat onto the stencil mat. Why would you want to do that?

    1. There are probably other reasons…. one that I thought of is: suppose you have a very dark glass work surface like the one in Jennifer’s video… it appears to be a Tim Holtz mat, but I didn’t look at her video’s credits (it could be some other brand). I find those difficult to use (mine has a white background). Maybe working with WHITE from the stencil mat makes seeing what you are doing easier? So you want the white but you also want the stickiness factor that the grip mat provides? Just a thought.

  5. Love hearing your take on things. I have ordered two grip mats for now. I think that will hold me, considering I don’t have nearly enough crafting time to suit me. But I am creating this summer – YAY! I agree w/ you about the new items and the innovations. Thanks for such a terrific video. Only one problem… now I want those postage stencils. LOL

  6. Jennifer, I’ve found many wonderful products that I wouldn’t have found otherwise by following you and watching your videos. Keep up the good work and amazing creativity you show us. You’re an inspiration.

  7. When craft businesses make new tools/products is takes a ton of time and money! Some are best sellers some are a bust. They are risking quite a lot to make these new tools. I LOVE the Grip Mats.

  8. Thanks so much for introducing us card crafties to these new and amazing tools. Love that you only post positive reviews and only tools you find useful yourself. We all need more positivity in this crazy world!! This postal collage is so clever and fun. I’m smitten and plan on ordering the bundle. Your cards are wonderfully amazing as always!! XOXO

  9. Oh, Jennifer, you are such an enabler. I’m dizzy from watching all the work you put into that one Christmas card. Obviously it’s one you create for a very special person. I love the new tool from Waffle Flower. I think their stuff is terrific. Love the die/stencil set so it might be something I’m going to look into getting. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these videos for us.

  10. Jennifer, you are such an “enabler”.. in the best way for us crafters! This video had me wanting the postage stamp set! Its so cute, and so many ways to use it..my mind is already making things! Also this grip mat is a well thought out design. Years back I asked my daughter, who is an Easy maker, what she did with her used cricket mats…she brought some over, cut them down for me, one sits in my misty. I’ve hated magnets and these have still just enough sticky to hold my card stock. But those mats are not sticky on back, so can’t use like a grip mat on my glass media mat. Definitely want this grip mat for desk and stenciling. Thanks Jennifer for showing us the tools that work!

  12. Gorgeous cards – I love postage stamp themed cards.! Thanks for demonstrating the new Waffle Flower grip mat, Jennifer. It’s features make it more versatile than the mat I currently use, so Lil probably invest in it. I just have to figure out which size is best for my Tim Holtz stamping platform.

I have a question. Could the mat be used as a gel press?
