Heads Up! Ways to Do Good + More!

Update: I want to thank everyone for their generous donations!  Because of you, Sycamore Bridges has met its goal!  This is an amazing accomplishment!  Sycamore Bridges has closed its donation page.

Hello! I wanted to let you know of a couple great causes and more! I am out of town for a few weeks, but wanted to stay in touch.

First, our family is doing another important fundraiser and you could get some crafty goodies or a handmade card from me! This one is to help kids struggling with anxiety. Find out more HERE.

Also, Ellen Hutson is working to raise money for Ukraine. 50% of the profit from the sales of all Sketchmarker products on Ellen Hutson, LLC and Sketchmarker Amazon through TODAY, Sunday, August 7th, 2022 will be used to help Ukrainians in need! The owners of Sketchmarker are Ukrainian… and Ellen is helping their family during this trying time. I LOVE this.

For all purchases over $25 of Sketchmarker products we will be providing a FREE download of a very special coloring book two incredibly talented Ukraine artists, Veroniika Shalamai and Vera Kuprik, have created especially for this event OR purchase the Coloring Book separately and all funds from it’s sale will be donated to the charities listed in the blog post linked below. Coloring Book will be sent out manually at the beginning of the following day! (I will also be donating the earnings from this post to their efforts.)
There is also a great instagram hop with inspiration. Find it HERE.
Finally, I just wanted to let you know about updated sales and new releases. Lots of fun happening in our crafty world! Head HERE.
Hope you have a blessed day!

  1. Thank you for this! I woke up crying today as I’m feeling very anxious myself. I wouldn’t wish it on a child, who should feel carefree and happy. This was certainly timely, and I’m happy to donate. Thank you again.

  3. Jennifer McGuire, you are one of the kindest people I have ever “met.” Thank you for all you do for the papercrafting community and beyond. The beautiful Ukrainian phrases you put into various sizes and fonts to print for cards to soldiers is but one example. I’m putting all I can into that particular pot, but best wish with all the others you’re filling. You embody this sign I see in my neighborhood: “If you can be anything, be kind.” THANK YOU so much. <3

  4. Thank you so much for putting this on your blog. I lobe your videos and you are very creative. But more important than that, this post shows me your heart and what you value.
