  1. fyi…the link to gina k products are not working. i tried on you tube, as well, and i received the same error message.

  2. You are speaking my language. Clear pockets with crisp stamping. Wonderful, different and unexpected. Thank you.

  3. These are amazing! You are so creative. Can you tell us what brand of cardstock that is in first card? I love that color!

  4. Love this technique with the laminating pouches. i have yet to purchase a laminator but your videos are really making me want one! Would love to order Gina K’s kit through your link but they are still down. Crashed during her live tonight.

  5. Wow! What a great idea! I just love the look it creates.
Question on another topic: can you recommend a white paper (vs cardstock) that is smooth enough for stamping? I like to make coordinating envelope liners for my cards, so I need something thin/lightweight.

  6. This is so exciting to me!!!! I will be trying this technique in the very near future. Thank you Jennifer, you’re the best!

  7. This is a must try technique. I ordered the stamp kit after watching about five minutes of your video as it’s the first set a I’ve been excited about all year.

  8. Such a cool technique! I have the laminator and pouches but think I’ll need to put in an order for more — looks addicting.

  9. I just love this technique! The white is my favorite. Have you tried adding embossing powder on top of the pigment ink? Just throwing that out there. Guess I could try doing that on top of versa mark ink.

  10. WHAT? Laminating pouches? Girl, you just blew my mind! Where in the world do you get these ideas from? Wow, you blew me away! Plus. I have laminating pouches. Yay! Thanks for such a great video, Jennifer. 💜

  11. I love all of your cards! I bought almost all of this release!! So versatile! Thanks for the inspiration!

  12. As usual, your creations are astonishing ! 😍😍😍😍😍

The GKD snowflake you’ve used on the purple card is specially beautiful. I always regret that she does not offer, like SSS does, the possibility to get the stamps sets separately : the price of the kit is too high for me to get it as I would have to pay around US$ 40.00 in custom charges. My budget is already emptied by the international shipping, I cannot afford to loose more money with the custom fees,

    1. When the kit sells out, the individual pieces become available on Gina’s website. The kit is a better value, but if you only want one stamp set, you will eventually be able to buy it. Sorry about the shipping.

  13. Jennifer!! You never. cease to amaze me…this is creative GENIUS!! What a fun technique and so very versatile!! I’m totally in love with it!! Your cards are gorgeous (as always!) I am in love with that purple shade…oh so pretty!! Kit is ordered plus some other goodies…YOU are BLESSING!!

  14. These cards are stunning Jennifer and I love how you used the laminating pockets, such a fantastic technique, thank you for sharing it!!! I am a huge lover of plums and purples so I really loved those cards you created, especially the first one with the double embossed silver snowflakes, that looked amazing! Thank you so much for such wonderful inspiration and a fantastic video tutorial!

  15. What a fabulous idea! Who would have thought of this but you?!?!? I will definitely be giving this a try, always looking for new and different techniques to try. Thanks for sharing this and all of you wonderful ideas with us. Beautiful!

  16. Beautiful cards Jennifer. Blown away by the first one. I saw the video last night and was very excited to ty it this morning. Yipes my Hero arts pigment ink is very juicy, I tried it 4 times with varying drying times. Some air dried (or so I thought) some with heat drying and one with 5 min air drying time I had smearing on each card. Not giving up this time I’ll let it air dry 24 hrs.

    1. Maybe this is what I did wrong too! Mine melted in the laminator. I wondered if I should have waited for the ink to dry longer.

  17. Love this technique. I tried this with the 5 ml and find it a bit too stiff for great folding. I also found out the if you try to cool hot card by holding the corner and shaking it you can bend the edge. Let it cool before handling.

  18. Hi Jennifer
I’m not sure if you’ll see my YouTube comments, but I am also attempting to foil on these laminate pouches. I have lots of leftover pieces that I am going to practice on and would love it if you also were to try it and share it with everyone since I don’t have a YouTube channel or blog.
Thank you so much for all of your inspirations.

  19. My pigment inks rarely see the light of day – now they can be the focal point of a card! Your last two videos have really pushed the envelope on how to get more from crafting supplies. You bring a unique perspective to card making that is refreshing and inspiring. Amazing.

  20. What a great technique Jennifer, I see a lot of possibilities stamping inside a laminate pouche with all kind of inks. I will even try it with Distress Oxide.
I love the cards you made, so beautiful. My favorite is the first one, so awesome!
Thank you so much for the great video, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

  21. Gorgeous cards! Thank you for a great video and technique. I already have the laminator and pigment inks so now all I need are the pouches.

  22. I tried this today and my image melted in my laminator! What did I do wrong? I love the way yours turned out.

  23. WOW! Your cards are amazing. Thank you for teaching us this technique. It is fantastic. I can’t wait to get my card kit. Thank you.

  24. You outdid yourself with this one. Your cards are amazing. I’ll be using this technique for my Christmas crds this year.

  25. This is brilliant! I bought a laminator to do foiling – I forget that I can also laminate with it – lol!! I ordered Gina’s kit last night – my first from her – and can’t wait to get it and try this technique. Thanks for sharing another amazing idea!

  26. I love your videos, they inspire me. My family and I are missionaries in Thailand. Craft supplies like these are almost impossible to get. Do you know if there are any vendors that will ship internationally? Input from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

    1. My daughter lives in Africa and she says to try using FedEX or DHL. If the companies won’t ship using those platforms, get a family member or friend to purchase it and ship it themselves via those platforms to your foreign address. Of course the shipping costs may be too prohibitive but perhaps worth at least checking into.

  27. Hi Jennifer,
    great cards, as always.
I tried this method, but it all turned out very wavy and bumpy. The laminated foil does not come out flat, although I’ve got a good brand of pouches and a, Olymioa laminator, even with photo-setting.
    What*s wrong?

    Lydia

  28. I love love love your videos! Thank you so much! I wanted to tell you that I bought Hero Arts kids hero kits for my Grandchildren. I don’t know if you have ever mentioned that in one of your videos, but my Grandchildren went crazy today when that fun box came. Perhaps you could ask your daughter to announce it for you. Really made this Nana a Hero!

  29. I tried this and the image all blurred and squished together. I used Gina k white pigment ink and the same pouches you used. What could be causing this? I even let sit for 5-6 min before I ran through laminator. Thank you

  30. Just put a laminator and pouches on my wish list. Clear, see-through cards are terrific! Thanks for the instructions.

  31. Loved your examples, and gave it a try. My white pigment ink gets thick and loses detail when it goes through my laminator. I even tried heat setting it before – which helped a little but warped my laminating pouch. Any other suggestions? It is so gorgeous when it shows the detail.

  32. I’m having the same problem. Tried different stamps, but both lost definition and don’t look clean & crisp. Don’t know what to do and feeling pretty discouraged right now.

    1. Ditto! I’ve also tried different inks, images, and different drying time/methods including heat gun. Everything attempt has failed and I have just about given up. So disappointed as I was so excited with this awesome technique. Maybe my laminator doesn’t get hot enough?

        1. Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches from Amazon (3ml). Just tried versamark and embossing powder—failed. Could it be the humidity in Hawaii?

  33. This is a comment on the laminator cards: It’s a fabulous idea! However, I used COLOR BOX white pigment ink pad, and stamped the inside of the thermal folder (SCOTCH). When ink dried, I put it through the heated laminator, and the ink melted into a huge blob! This happened twice.

So decided to use the “cold” setting on the laminator, and then put the stamped thermal file through. This time it came out clear – no melted ink.
Has anyone else had this problem? So from now on, I will use the white pigment ink and put it through the laminator on COLD.
