  1. I just ordered a gel press!! Thanks for sharing another incredible video that teaches how to use it. I love all the cards you created.

  2. I’ve had my gelli plate for a few years now but because I felt overwhelmed I haven’t used it. This gives me the inspiration to try it out! Thank you Jennifer!

  3. I watched this early when I didn’t realize it was part of the hop. SUCH a great video and it made me drool for so many of the new goodies this Stamptember. TY for all the time you put in to help us.

  4. WOW! Fantastic video. Thank you for the lesson with a Gel press. I have one and never tried it. I will try it now. Thank you . The new release is great.

  5. This video and your cards are fantastic! I’ve never tried a gel press (I don’t own one) but I absolutely love what you showed. Thank you so much for sharing fun inspiration!!

  6. Jennifer,
Fantastic video! Can’t wait to try this technique! I do have to ask …what is your secret to getting such clean, crisp stamping and embossing results with small stamps? My letters tend to blend together making it difficult to see the individual letters.
Thank you for the continued inspiration! You are my favorite!

  7. These are so amazing! I’ve had a gel press for a few years now, but I always use with paint. So it’s a big deal for me to get out the paint and put down a covering to protect the carpet, etc. I hadn’t tried inks before! This opens up a whole new (easier) world. Plus, the paint never looked good to me. I’m excited to try the oxide inks.

  8. Wow! These cards look amazing. Really want to try this technique. Such fun and unique designs with a variety of media.

  9. Jennifer, you continue to amaze and inspire me! It’s time for me to get my gelli plate out again. TY

  10. These are all so beautiful. Stamptember sure has come in like a LION… so many awesome products to choose from, it makes me dizzy. Thanks for these, you sure do inspire.

  11. I’ve not been able to find the Banner Greetings laminated sheet you used to curve the sentiments. Could you point me in the right direction please. Also I’m so excited about the gel plates — never liked the mess of paints on them so never got one. But using the Distress Oxide inks looks wonderful. Thanks for the ideas.

  12. Oh,I do love gelli printing! Funny thing is that I was just wondering the other day if you had ever tried gelli printing and here you are doing it. Love what you’ve printed and your cards. Thanks for sharing with us.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

  13. I’m not very adventuresome because I have never used a gel press. You make it look so easy & fun to try. I’ll have to look into purchasing one. Beautiful cards and backgrounds created in your video

    1. Omg I ordered the press before the video was even over! Looks like so much fun. Yes please, more videos. I learn the most from your videos. I was so unsure of stamping until I discovered your videos!

  14. YES! Thank you for the gel plate opportunity! I got one several months ago, but haven’t used it yet. You give me courage! Please do more on the techniques for using them, and please with the inks we may already have. You are awesome. and Welcome back! Hugs and encouragement to you and Lila too.

  15. You can not even imagine how happy you made me with this video. I bought the gel press a long time ago and it’s been sitting in my drawer since. I’ve been little scared to use it as well and I was hoping one day you will have a video about it so I can finally use it. So THANK YOU for going out of your comfort zone and making the video. Cards are absolutely amazing.

  16. The gel press was an absolutely new concept for me. I just loved it. Your cards were beautiful as always. Another item on my wish list.

  17. My dear friend died in March and her husband has sent me her crafting supplies, amongst which are some unused gel presses. I haven’t had a chance to use them, (homeschooling a child with autism!), but hopefully this will change soon! Thank you for this tuition and inspirational ideas and YES PLEASE, further tutorials would be so appreciated! I have been blessed with these items and the Lord will want me to use them to the best of my ability to bless others. Your cards, as ever, are stunning…i’m just cleaning up my drool here….!

  18. Thank you for this video. Before watching I knew very little about gel plates and what they can do. As soon as I finish this comment I’m going online shopping. I hope you’ll do many more blog posts and videos.

  19. This looks like so much fun and you can get messy, bringing out your inner child. Yes, I would love to see more of these videos. Was surprised that these gel presses weren’t expensive either. Thank you so much for sharing this!

  20. This looks like so much fun. You’ve given me the courage to do it! I have everything I need. You should check out What Tracy with Lavinia Stamps does with the gel press. She makes a print of an alcohol ink on Yupo paper to make it easier to stamp on later.

  21. Thanks for the great video and beautiful cards with a gel press, Jennifer!! I’ve heard others talk about using a gelli and didn’t know what they meant or cared to investigate at the time. You made it look so accessible and fun!!

  22. I loved this tutorial…I, too, have Gel plates stashed away. I have the oxide re-inkers, I am going to used these. I am so excited now….making giddy noises.

  24. This may be one of my favorite videos ever that you have done. I love the simplicity of the oxide inks with the gel plate. I’m totally trying this today! Thank you so much for sharing your gift!

  25. Loved watching you use the gel press. I actually have one but have never used it yet. Now I want to get it out and play, it looks so much fun. Plus I love all of those backgrounds that you could use for cards. Your cards were all gorgeous as always. Thank you so much for shoeing us how to have fun with the gel press, I am so going to get mine out and just PLAY! I think I need some fun time today! Thanks for your videos and thank for the inspiration! ~Gin~

  26. Wow, wow, wow! I have looked at gel presses in the craft store numerous times, and always thought they were only for acrylic paint. I was fascinated by the results you got using the stencils and background stamps with the distress oxide (my favorite ink). Thank you for sharing your personal excitement for this product, and showcasing the new Simon Says stamp release.

  27. I should learn that every time you put out a great video , which is always, SSS will be out of the supplies needed for that technique😂. I will be impatiently awaiting for SSS to get in more gel press supplies.😘

  28. YES, Jennifer, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more Gel Press videos! I have several of the plates which I have used, but not nearly enough! I think I need encouragement and teaching, and you are the expert at teaching! I love your videos, and those ideas for using the Gel Press were so very easy and encouraging for me. Thanks so much for all the ideas!

  29. Beautiful cards Jennifer. I just finished watching the video. Thinking about purchasing a gel press with my next stamping order!

  30. Loved this video! I’ve never heard of gel press before but it’s clearly something I need to add to my list. Thank you for sharing and I hope to see more videos using the gel press.

  31. I have a few sizes of Gel Presses stuffed in the closet. I am so excited to pull the.m out. I am going to use my oxide re-inkers. So fun.

  32. I have a few sizes of Gel Presses stuffed in the closet. I am so excited to pull the.m out. I am going to use my oxide re-inkers. So fun.

  33. I am OVERJOYED that you’ve made a video of you using your gel plate for the first time Jennifer!! I purchased a 3×5 gel plate in Nov/19 but have been timid to try it. I was under the mistaken idea you had to use acrylic inks so I’m delighted to learn I can use some of the inks I already own. I think your backgrounds & cards are wonderful. I’ve always liked the look of some mixed media on a card, but thought it may be beyond my ability. You’ve inspired me to try it. As always, you’ve showcased the massive incredible release from SSS in a way no one else does. I look forward to seeing another video using your gel plate(s). Thanks so much!
