Quick Coloring Die Cut Hacks

Hello and Happy New Year! Today I am sharing a few simple tricks for adding color and life to simple die cuts. Easy and quick!

I have said it many times – I enjoy using dies even more than stamps! And with a bit of “basic” inks and tools, you can give them a more realistic, dimensional look. You can use Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink (SSS | HA) and white pencil to add highlights to the die cut edges, along with details with a Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen. It is easy to do – watch the video for the details!

Here are the cards from my video along with the main products featured. For the full supply list, scroll down to the thumbnails at the end of this post.

  17. Thanks so much for sharing these great tips, makes the flowers look so beautiful!! I love this kit and I always go on the Monday at 1pm day of release to decide if I want the kit and normally they don’t sell out, but the kit is gone now and I was in the ER on Monday afternoon until 11:30pm with another kidney stone and on top of that I was in the ER January 1st-2nd for a lung infection, starting 2020 with a bang!! So frustrated that the one kit I really love is gone! I wish they’d release these kits like Simon and MFT does!
