My Favorite Crafty Things 2019: OTHER FAVORITES

Hello! Welcome back to My Favorite Crafty Things 2019! Today I am chatting about other crafty favorites.

Over the next several weeks, I will be sharing my favorite crafty products of 2019. Each post will have a different topic with a video. If you haven’t checked out THIS video, please do so – it explains how the series works.

I have lots to share, including big giveaways (see below) and even store discounts (some are exclusive!) from several of my favorite stores. I will be updating this list if more offers come in…

Let’s focus on other crafty favorites…

Please note that I purchased most of the products in this post personally, but not all. Regardless, the decision to include them in this list was my own. I truly like these products and companies and am not on any design teams. For more info, visit HERE. If you have questions, please email me.]

  2. Thank you for another great video.. I always learn some great tips on how to use our supplies an discover new companies who make our hobby amazing and new items to check out..

  3. Thanks for this video! All these little extra touch type items are great to keep in mind when I do my shopping. Your videos help me put together wish lists so I don’t forget what I wanted when I get a chance to shop.

  4. I am really enjoying your video series to see what you choose to use and how to use the items. You actually are the one that got me interested in starting to stamp and make cards by watching your videos. I am a newbie so if I have any questions I know I can find one of your videos to help me and you always have multiple ideas how to use everything! Thank you for what you do! You are amazing!

  6. Ooooh I want to try the new transfer gel. I definitely am ordering a crafting is my super power for a card making friend. Thank for all you do, tips, tricks etc!

  7. Thanks for these two terrific videos. So many of these products are used on your beautiful cards and it is awesome to have a link to each of them. I feel like I have more than I could ever use or need and then I see these amazing videos and just have to add more to my cart. So grateful for your sharing and informative videos.

  8. Thank you so much for this series. I’m making my list and checking it twice. I can now slowly fill my list.

  9. I love shimmer, too. Adds just the right something to a card. I’m still working on my Wink of Stellas and Spectrum Noirs, but I’ll check out the Tonic Aqua shimmer pens next. Thanks for all the hard work on your wonderful videos. Happy New Year!

  10. Thank you so much for continuing to share your passion for designing & creating sensational cards! I’ve been a follower for quite some time now, though I do apologize for not leaving a comments on your YouTube videos..😔 Although, I do click the “like”button on the videos I have watched… For me, I often watch videos to take my mind off of my disabilities & daily pain after enduring a dozen surgeries (I stopped counting a few yrs ago..)
    I digress; I apologize for that!..🤦🏻‍♀️
My point is that I like how you produce uniquely creative cards by thinking of various ways to use a stamp set with the end result of anther amazing card!
And, I’m also glad that you continued your series of your favorite crafty things! This really helps me to determine whether or not a a tool or ink pad will work with my Copic markers, etc.
Additionally, you post sales alerts, through your relationships with numerous companies who’ve turned to you & several others (like Kristina W., Kathy R., Laura B., etc.; please excuse me if I’ve misspelled any of their names..) as design team members & it’s obvious to anyone who’s watched any of your & your fellow design team members’ YouTube videos; I, myself, became hooked, wanting to watch more of your amazing card-making videos where you always introduced & demonstrated a new technique, sharing with us, multiple ways we can use our stamps; thus, maximizing them!
Thank you, as well, for continuing your ‘Favorite Crafty Things’ videos series which you also talk about in your blog. I think this really helps those of us who haven’t been able to buy many supplies because of medical problems &/or disabilities; but, by watching these videos, it’s a tremendous help (at least to me) so I’d know whether a product is worth buying but you also provide suggestions & tips about about items like ink, paper & coloring mediums & how they each affect one another – a huge help to us, your followers & subscribers! 👏🏻
And then you also share coupons or discount codes from numerous craft stores; thank you!! I’m certain that it takes you time to research, compile & then post on your blog. THANK YOU!! 🙏🏻
Nevertheless, you’ve been a huge help, especially to those of us, disabled, but still trying to live some semblance of a normal life, taking it day by day; so, THANK YOU!! I was able to purchase a few things that I’ve really been wanting & with the coupons, I was super excited to be able to buy a couple of things! So, thanks (again)!! I’m certain that many others are also enjoying the coupons, too, either buying for themselves or as gifts for crafty friends.
Though Thanksgiving is over, with good reason, I am thankful for you, Kristina, Laura, Kathy, & many others for sharing with us your talents with us because it’s certainly helped me to remember my love of crafting, card making, ATC cards, etc.. Unfortunately, I’m in constant pain; it’s just the matter of whether I’m able to tolerate it & even if it’s a bad day, I get to look at my tiny space with my craft supplies & feel some excitement because I know I’ll be able to play with my stamps & other supplies sometime soon!…
Finally, I would like to wish you & your family a very merry & Happy Holidays!

  16. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video series! I always learn something new each year, even though I’ve been a crafter for a couple of years now. Merry Christmas!

  17. I love your videos. I have learned so much from them. You certainly inspire me to try new techniques. You are so
professional in you videos and make them understandable. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to more of your videos.

Another great addition to your video series! I just love the large washi tape.
Thank you for all the hard work you put into making such informative videos!

  19. Your videos and commentary on all things crafting has been a blessing again in 2019!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I exercise listening to them!! Really keeps me motivated to try new and different things!!

  20. oh my, there are so many things that Santa forgot to gift me – lol – love all the sparkly gemstones and pens 🙂

  21. Jennifer, thank you for all of the time and energy you put into creating these “Favorite Things” videos. They are definitely my go-to when I need to know which brand I should buy of an item! I was wondering your opinion of something…subscription boxes. I would like to buy a subscription box for my crafting partner. We make cards and do art journaling together. We have not been as actively card making as either of us would like, so I thought if I bought a subscription box, it would give us some motivation. I know Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts both have boxes. Do you recommend either of those over the other? Or maybe a different company? Thanks so much!

  22. Love all your videos. Heard about your work at a local store that does make and takes weekly. Been hooked ever since. Blessings

  23. I love the embellishments. I’m always looking for new gemstones in a variety of colors. I’m also very interested in finally trying the foiling.

  24. Thank you for taking the time to do this series every year since it must take so much time and effort. It’s my favorite!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  25. You always inspire me to try new techniques, but I’m easily inspired to buy new toys, too! Can’t follow any of my inspirations right now, crafting or otherwise, but when I’m able I will know where to go and what I need! Thanks for all the fun!

  26. Thank you for putting this list together, there are some products in your list that I haven’t heard of!

  27. Best Wishes from Canada! I enjoy how you present these wonderful products. Simon Says is a marvel at packing items and getting them to us. Thank-You, the suppliers you pick, work well with customers.

  28. I love how the Altenew metallic watercolors look on dark cardstock! I definitely need to get the black glaze pen for critter faces. Thanks for sharing your favorites! 🙂
