    1. Beautiful.
I was talked into buying the powders and using water on watercolor paper but I wish I bought distress sprays instead. Seems so much easier than the former technique. Thanks for sharing

  1. You never disappoint Jennifer. I have the distress oxide ink pads, but I love the convenience and effect you did with the sprays. They will be on my list. I’m so much, in “the box” with my card layering, so you inspired me to cut down pieces and use strips and other ways to do my cards. TY for much for all your hard work.

  2. WOW, Jennifer! You’ve shown us SO MANY WONDERFUL IMAGES & shown us just HOW to use the Distress Oxide Inks! LOVE EACH of your cards!!! THANK YOU for showing us! ;)<3 (JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS TOO! LOL) ;)<3

  3. Just love the color work on these card, Jennifer. Your video is a great tutorial for seeing the spray work and clear resist in action. Must try that iron-off technique. tfs

  4. What beautiful effects you get with those sprays. I don’t have any of these, but I do have other sprays that I may just have to try. I want to do some pages for my son and daughter in law’s wedding scrapbook, I think that could make some beautiful backgrounds for their book. Thanks for another fabulous video and techniques!

  5. These are beautiful cards with such fun backgrounds! Thanks so much for sharing your video with us. Love to see your ideas and lovely cards!!

  6. Amazing colors on all these cards! I had to purchase more supplies so I could try this technique. Yes, do more videos with distress oxide sprays. Thank you

  7. Oh Jennifer…The way you turn messy and grungy mediums into clean and simple card designs never ceases to amaze me! The combination is perfect.

I hope you all have a good Halloween, and that Lila and Colin the festivities. Can’t wait to see pics of you decide to share!

  8. I thought I didn’t need the strays so much but after seeing your techniques, I want to get them and try them. I can’t wait to see what you do with the scraps.

  9. I really saw no need to get the sprays as I have all the ink pads. But WOW!!! These backgrounds are AMAZING!!!! Really Beautiful cards!!!

  10. Wow Jennifer, what a great cards. I love how you made those beautiful background, what a “simple” spray can do.
Thank you so much for showing how to make this and have a great day.

  11. Incredibly beautiful cards, Jennifer! I LOVE your videos and look forward to them to spend my ME time with you! Always a joy and such a blessing to my day…keep ’em coming! These sprays look like so much inky fun and will be sure to pick up a few….

  12. Wow! I can’t get the sprays right now but I will try some of these with the inks. Not only do I learn from your techniques, but your layouts, too. Little things like tiny strips of black or white add so much. Glad to find out this old dog is still trainable! Thank you! Hugs❣️

  13. Gorgeous, classy cards! I need to look into those sprays. You did such a great video on the usefulness of the Distress Oxide sprays. As always…stunning results!

  14. I was so excited after your last Distress Oxide Spray video that I could wait to get my hands on some. I bought a couple of colors and spent hours playing with them! I did a few with emboss-resist, but I’ve never used the iron-off technique — that’s next on my list!

  15. Jennifer,
I hardly use sprays but after watching this video using the Tim Holtz’s Distress Oxide sprays, I’m sold. I just can’t believe how beautiful these cards turned out. What great tips, thanks so much.

  16. Gorgeous samples using the distress oxide sprays Jennifer! You did an amazing amount of cards in such a small amount of time. Thanks for sharing with us.

  17. Hi Jennifer,
I tried it out myself it turned out very well but I was wondering that after letting everything dry for two days I still have color on my fingers when I touch the project to glue something down. I took regular watercolor paper dried with a heat tool. Did I do something wrong? Do I have to fix it somehow with something?
Thanks in advance for any help or info… Sabine

  18. Not sure if you’ll be reading new comments on a 3 year old post but I just tried to replicate your maple leaf “grateful” card and it was a total failure. Your card colors look vibrant and mine are dull and muted and when I ironed the card front it looked even duller. I went back in with more sprays, especially the oranges but no luck. Any suggestions? I used all the sprays you did except the Festive Berries because I don’t have that one. I also used hot press watercolor paper. Would that make a difference?
