2 Stamp, 5 Fast Techniques + Special Collaboration + GIVEAWAY

Hi there! Last week I did a video where I showed several fast techniques that you could do with one stamp set. People seemed to love it so I thought I would do another! However, this time I am using 2 stamp sets with 5 new techniques. That means 10 cards total…

Today’s video features the new-and-very-special Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK – more on this set below) and Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK). Here are 5 techniques using these sets…

#1: Vellum Dry Embossing

One of the best ways to use vellum for big impact is with dry embossing. Here, I stamped with light ink onto heavyweight vellum and then traced the stamping with a stylus. This leaves white texture on the vellum. Easy and fun!

My first card features the Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK), Pinkfresh Studio Classic Words Dies (SSS | PK) for the “thank you”, Pinkfresh Studio Pretty Frames 2 Die (SSS | PK) for the frame, Heavyweight Vellum and Hero Arts Lapis Cardstock (SSS | HA).

This technique does warp the vellum a bit. But just put a few heavy books on top or flatten it by running it through a laminator! Works like a charm.

My second card with this technique uses the same products as the last except with the Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK) and Hero Arts Palm Cardstock (SSS | HA).

#2: Second Generation Stamping

Another technique we often forget about is second generation stamping! I stamped once in bold ink and then rotated my paper and stamped again without reinking for a lighter image. These cards only took minutes to make.

This first card features the Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK), Hero Arts Raspberry Jam Ink (SSS | HA), and Hero Arts Plum Cardstock (SSS | HA). That sentiment is so encouraging…

My second card with this technique features the Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK), Hero Arts Fresh Lawn Ink (SSS | HA), and the Pinkfresh Studio Pretty Frames 2 Die (SSS | PK) for the frame.

#3: Offset Shadow Stamping

For years, one of my favorite techniques has been to stamp with white pigment ink on colored cardstock… offset the stamps… and stamp again with a colored dye ink. The results are so unique! And it is another quick technique that works every time.

My first example features the Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK), Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink (SSS | HA), Pinkfresh Studio Classic Words Dies (SSS | PK) for the “beautiful”, Pinkfresh Studio Pretty Frames 2 Die (SSS | PK) for the frame, Heavyweight Vellum , Hero Arts Raspberry Jam Ink (SSS | HA), and Hero Arts Plum Cardstock (SSS | HA).

My second technique example uses the Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK), Hero Arts Meadow Cardstock (SSS | HA), Hero Arts Hello Die (SSS | HA), and Hero Arts Fresh Lawn Ink (SSS | HA).

#4: Border Stamping

A great way to get a new look from a stamp – especially a background stamp – is to stamp it on a border.

Here, I used the Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK) for a one-layer card.

My second card uses the Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK), along with the new Hero Arts Cobblestone Stamp (SSS | HA) and a bit of gold cardstock.

#5: Marker Stamping

My last technique definitely has the most impact! The idea is to use markers to ink up your stamps. This allows you to get lots of colors on one image. I decided to go for metallic stamping… with the new Karin Decobrush Metallic Markers. These markers are amazing especially when used on dark cardstock! Be sure to clean your stamp after – I used Hero Arts Ultra Clean (SSS | HA).

The metallic color on this card is amazing in real life! This uses the Pinkfresh Hero Arts You Make a Difference Stamp Set (HA | PK), Karin Decobrush Metallic Markers, Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock (SSS | HA – the best black cardstock ever!), and Pinkfresh Studio Classic Words Dies (SSS | PK) for the “thank you”.

Here you can see the metallic shine…

My last card uses the Karin Decobrush Metallic Markers again… with navy cardstock, the Pinkfresh Studio Through The Trees Stamp Set (SSS | PK), and the Hero Arts Hello Die (SSS | HA). I covered the hello die cut with silver marker. LOVE!
