Watercolor Swiping + LOTS of Cards + GIVEAWAYS
Hello! Today I am sharing a super simple technique for creating smooth watercolor backgrounds. This is perfect for creating many cards at once!
[All supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post. Multiple stores are also linked in the parentheses following the product name. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.]
A few weeks ago, I showed how to create colorful backgrounds by swiping alcohol ink on yupo paper (HERE). After that, I showed how to create ink pads with baby wipes and dye reinkers (HERE). Well today I am combining those two techniques to create watercolor swiped backgrounds!
I show many ways of doing this technique in my video. And they are SUPER easy. I also showed a few different products you can use… including Hero Arts Liquid Watercolor ( HA | SSS ), Gina K Ink Refills, and Hero Arts Glimmer Metallic Inks ( HA | SSS ). (By the way, Distress Ink and Oxide Reinkers would be great for this, too. I just ran out of time to demonstrate it!)
Because I have so many cards for you today, I will just be putting the supplies used next to each card image below. Keep in mind there are MANY more shown in my video. Yep, I went overboard. 🙂
