Altenew Alcohol Based Markers + DISCOUNT CODE + GIVEAWAYS
Hello! Today’s video is all about the Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT). These markers are an affordable alcohol-based option that are great for crafters. I also share several fun techniques.

In my video, I share lots of info on the Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT) and why they are great for crafters. Be sure to watch the video to learn more! And also read the bottom of this post… I have lots there, including a discount code and lots of giveaways.
My first card features the new Altenew Wallpaper Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) — isn’t that flower gorgeous?! I colored it with Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT) using a feathering motion. I also added a sentiment from the Altenew Inked Roses Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
Here is a closer look at the coloring. I am not the best coloring pro out there, but these markers make it easier for me. There are two big reasons for that: these markers have a fine and brush tip… and they come in coloring families which takes out all the guesswork.
Here is another flower I created with the Altenew Wallpaper Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) and Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT). This time I used a more traditional coloring method to get a smooth blend with bold color. I also added a vase from the Altenew Versatile Vases Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
On the background, I stamped faux marble tile squares using the Altenew One Day At A Time Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). I stamped this with Altenew Frosty Pink Ink… which is a perfect match to the Altenew Frosty Pink Artist Marker that I used on the flower. That is another reason I like using the Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT) — there are inks to match each marker color. Yay!
I also added scoring lines around the marble stamping for texture. The sentiment is from the Altenew Thank You Builder Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
My next card has a completely different look. After stamping flowers and a sentiment from the new Altenew Bold Bunch Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) with Altenew Inks (SSS | ALT), I added basic colored details with my Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT). This is super easy to do and makes the colors pop!
By the way, I stamped a sentiment on most of today’s envelopes from the Altenew Rennie Roses Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
My next card shows that you can use alcohol-based markers for simple, solid, smooth coloring. It isn’t always necessary to take the time to acheive blending. Alcohol-based markers give smooth results without leaving a scribbled look. Here, I used the Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT) to color an image from the Altenew Book Club Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). I also used matching inks to stamp “thank you” from the Altenew Thank You Builder Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) and borders on the card edge.
My last two cards use the Altenew Prettiest Pomander Stamp Set (SSS | ALT), Altenew Versatile Vases Stamp Set (SSS | ALT)… and the Altenew Leaf Medallion Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) for a sentiment. This flower stamp set is great because it includes the outline image along with layering images for adding the color. My first card uses all these together… and I added details with my Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT).
And here is another example using the same products… but this time I did not use the outline stamp. This gives a no-line coloring look with little effort! I just added a few extra details with my Altenew Artist Markers (SSS | ALT).
This shows how fun it is to use inks and matching markers together. I am not perfect at coloring, but this is good for me! 😉
