Floating Die Cut Frames + GIVEAWAY
Hello again! Today I am showing how to create cards with floating die cut frames. You can do this with many different die cuts and it gives an impressive look. And guess what? This technique results in two cards at once!

My first pair of cards features the Altenew Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). I stamped and die cut many of these gorgeous flower clusters using my MISTI Stamping Tool and Gemini Junior Die Cut Machine. Next, I arranged many of the flowers close together and pressed a piece of Glad Press N Seal (SSS | AZ) to hold them together. After die cutting a rectangle from the center, I was able to transfer the die cuts to a notecard with foam squares behind each. After removing the Glad Press N Seal, every die cut is perfectly in place.
Here you can see that it looks as if the die cuts are floating to form a frame on the card. I added Pretty Pink Posh Buttercream Jewels and a simple sentiment from the Altenew Flourishing Zinnia Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
My second card has the “insides” from the last card. The sentiment is from the Altenew Flower Vine Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
My next pair also showcases the Altenew Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). This time I created a frame-look with a circle die.
I really like the perfect frame of die cuts that you get with this technique.
And the matching card has die cuts arranged in a perfect circle…
My last pair of cards uses the new Altenew Delicate Primrose Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). After stamping and die cutting lots of the flowers and leaves, I used the same technique to form the frame.
I again used sentiments on both of these cards from the Altenew Flourishing Zinnia Stamp Set (SSS | ALT) and Altenew Flower Vine Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).
