Hello! I am trying out a new type of video today. I call it a “Card + Tip Showcase Video“… where I share lots of cards and random tips while showcasing a new product release. Today’s release is the new Pinkfresh Studio – – it is great!

My first card shares a couple helpful tips. First, I silver heat embossed lots of of floral images from Pinkfresh Inked Florals Stamp Set (SSS | PF) and then stamped the solid layering images with soft ink. I really appreciate the artsy look of this set – so pretty!
One of my tips is to add shadows/dimension very quickly by using a slightly darker marker over the stamping. It takes such little time but adds so much. My second tip is for adding heat embossed dots. I use a quickie glue pen to do this! It works great.
My second card shows how to create a unique gatefold card with stamping and partial die cutting. Watch the video for the complete how-to… it is easy! I used leaf images from the Pinkfresh Lush Greenery Stamp Set (SSS | PF) and a sentiment from the Pinkfresh My Favorite Things To Say Stamp Set (SSS | PF).
Here you can see the fun fold design of this card…
My next card shares tips on creating see-through cards with background dies. I used the new Pinkfresh Geo Star 1 (SSS | PF) and Star 2 (SSS | PF) to form the card… along with images from the cutie Pinkfresh Happy Hugs Stamp Set (SSS | PF) on the front.
This next card features the oh-so-awesome Pinkfresh Mandala Stamp Set (SSS |PF). This set makes it easy to create a card quickly! In the video I share an important tip: When layering dye inks, heat set between the colors. It allows for crisper results.
I also added touches of darker colors with a Copic Marker and bits of shine with Glossy Accents.
The top layer of the “HELLO” is Tonic Gold Mirror Cardstock. The gold shines perfectly.
These last four cards feature two great die sets – the Pinkfresh Dainty Blossoms Dies (SSS | PF) and Noteworthy Frames Dies (SSS | PF). I also show how to use the Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes to add soft color to white die cuts.
I also added shimmer to the die cuts with a Tonic Aqua Shimmer Pen.
