Hidden Slider Cards + GIVEAWAY
Hello. Today I am sharing how to create surprise slider cards without any special dies needed!

I have been doing a lot of interactive cards lately (they are fun to make!)… but most require special dies. Today’s technique doesn’t! As always, watch the video to see the process.
My first card features a pull tab that reveals a hidden image. I used images and dies from the new Hero Arts My Monthly Hero October Kit (more on that below) along with snowflakes and sentiments from the Hero Arts Stacking Snowflakes Stamp Set (SSS | HA). At first, the card looks like a simple winter scene…
… and when you pull the tab, a little girl skates out!
I used the Lawn Fawn Push Here Stamp Set to stamp the “pull” on the tab… and the Hero Arts Graphic Snowflake Stamp (SSS | HA) to stamp on the matching envelope’s flap. Oh – and on the sky I used Hero Arts Soft Pool Ink along with the awesome Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes and Hero Arts Stacking Snowflakes Stamp Set (SSS | HA).
My second card shares a double surprise slider design. At first, the card has a tree from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero October Kit and a background created the same as the last card…
…but when you pull the tabs, a boy and girl appear…
The sentiment on the tree is from the Hero Arts Peace Love Joy Stamp Set (SSS | HA) and the inside of the card says “LOVE.”
I am in love with the trees on these cards. The Hero Arts My Monthly Hero October Kit includes the tree stamp, coordinating die… and a die that cuts the branches for added dimension. Swoon!
