Stamped See Through Cards + GIVEAWAY

Hello. Today I am sharing how to create see through cards made up of stamped images! This technique works with many stamps you may have and gives amazing results.

A few months ago, I shared a video showing how to create see-through cards with background dies. (You can see the video HERE.) So I thought it would be fun to come back and share how to make see through cards from stamped images. Although I used large flower stamps today, you could use any shape or size images.

My first card features the incredibly gorgeous Altenew Build A Flower Peruvian Lily Set (SSS | ALT). I stamped several flowers and leaves with Altenew Ink and then cut them out with their coordinating dies. Be sure to check out the video to see how I connected them together with Gina K Connect Glue for the front panel of the card… with the help of Glad Press N Seal! I added a scored “hinge” at the top and added to a white cardstock panel… forming a card.

The sentiment is from the Altenew Life Is Awesome Stamp Set ( SSS | ALT).

This photo shows how you can see through the front of the card between the connected flowers. There is mini card glued inside to hide a personal message.

My second card has lots of open areas on the front of the card. After cutting out images from the Altenew Needlework Motif Stamp Set (SSS | ALT), I connected them together to create a card front. Again, there is a mini card adhered inside.

I added a sentiment from the Altenew Simply Hello Die (SSS | ALT) and Altenew Kind Words Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). I also coated the die cuts in a thick layer of Ranger Glossy Accents.

This next photo shows how the card front is see-through…

My last card uses the Altenew Beautiful Heart Stamp Set (SSS | ALT). These large images are great for this technique! Instead of having a mini card inside, this one has two circles – one adhered to the back of the front panel of the card and one adhered to the inside of the card – providing a place for the message inside.

The sentiment is formed from the Altenew Simply Hello Die (SSS | ALT) and Altenew Needlework Motif Stamp Set (SSS | ALT).

And here you can see the see-through portion action on the card’s front…
