Edge Die Cut Cards
Hi! A few weeks ago, I shared a technique video showing how to create “off-the-edge die cut cards.” Today, I am sharing a few new variations of this technique. I love the different looks you can achieve!

Be sure to check out my video to see how to create the die cut edge cards with a variety of die styles. This is a great way to create a unique card shape!
My first example features the Concord & 9th City Stacks Stamp Set (SSS | C9) and Dies (SSS | C9). I cut the back of the card with the tree border and the front of the card with the house border. I then stamped the images and did messy coloring with Copic Markers.
This technique is a great way to make a unique one-layer card.
I simply am giddy with the cuteness of the Concord & 9th Furry Friends Stamp Set (SSS | C9) and Dies (SSS | C9)! I used partial die cutting to cut them along a white cardstock piece. I then cut the front of a kraft notecard short so the animals would hang off when put together.
The sentiment for this one is from the Concord & 9th Bits and Pieces Stamp Set (SSS | C9) and Concord & 9th Furry Friends Stamp Set (SSS | C9). I used Your Next Stamp Sparkly Gumdrops on the top of the hats – so cute!
You can also use word dies for die cut edge cards. Here, I used the Concord & 9th Shine On Dies (SSS | C9) to cut along the front edge… and added stamping from the Concord & 9th Shine On Stamp Set (SSS | C9).
When you open the card, you see another message…
(By the way, I listed all the inks and cardstocks I used in the thumbnails below.)
This card doesn’t use partial die cutting, but does have a die cut on the edge a gatefold card. The background features the Concord & 9th Star Turnabout Stamp Set (SSS | C9) and Concord & 9th Star Turnabout Die (SSS | C9). Be sure to watch the video to see how to create the gatefold.
And a sweet message inside…
