Stamped-Fold Card Designs + GIVEAWAY
Hello! Today’s video shares ideas for creating fun card folds with stamped images. You can do this with large stamps, or a cluster of small… and it’s a great way to create something unexpected and unique!

My first card has a unique gatefold-like design. I stamped two of the Studio Katia Lovely Blooms Stamps (SSS | SK) on Koh-i-noor Bristol Cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. After cutting them out, I scored them both so I could wrap them around a square white notecard. After gluing them together (watch the video!), I added them to a piece of black cardstock with a piece of twine sandwiched between.
To open the card, you open the two floral flaps first… and you see a Studio Katia Birthday Greetings Stamp Set (SSS | SK) sentiment…
… and then the card itself opens upward to reveal a personal message.
My second example only has one stamped-flap… made up of images from the Studio Katia Under the Sea Stamp Set (SSS | SK). Aren’t those fish the cutest!? I stamped, colored, and die cut them… then arranged them together in a cluster with no adhesive. I carefully laid a piece of Avery Removable Adhesive Sheets over the images to pick them up together and keeping them in place. I put drops of glue wherever the images touched and let it dry. After removing the Avery Removable Adhesive Sheet, I have a connect cluster of images. I scored along the left edge of the cluster and folded it around a notecard.
I also added “bubbles” cut with the Studio Katia Halftone Dots Cover Die (SSS | SK).
When you open the stamped flap, you see a couple more guys inside…
… and then you can open the card to the right to reveal the message inside.
I wanted to create another card using the same Studio Katia Under the Sea Stamp Set (SSS | SK) but with a bit of a different design. I created an off-center gatefold card (watch the video!) and added a bunch of fish to the small flap on the right. I also adhered a trimmed Studio Katia Halftone Dots Cover Die (SSS | SK) to the flap on the left.
This school of fish makes me happy!
And here you can see how the card opens…
I also have two bonus cards for you! They both feature stitching that I did with the new Studio Katia Stitch Borders Dies (SSS | SK). I like that this border strip doesn’t take long to stitch and is perfect as a background on a simple card. My first card also shows the Studio Katia Best Ever Stamp Set (SSS | SK) and Dies (SSS | SK).
My second stitched card features a fun image from the Studio Katia Kobi Bearing Gifts Stamp Set (SSS | SK) and Studio Katia Birthday Greetings Stamp Set (SSS | SK) sentiment.
