  1. I like watercolor markers but I’m excited to get into COPICS, WATERCOLOR PENCILS, and WATER SOLUBLE OIL PASTELS.

  2. I try to avoid coloring with anything except inkpads. I have Spectrum Noir markers and colored pencils and those little sheets of color pigment to watercolor with.

  3. I love to freestyle color, just drawing whatever comes into my mind, or sitting outside to be inspired by nature and capture the colors of the setting sun, or a shades of the wings of a pretty bird that lands on a tree or bench. Thank you!

  4. What a neat trick with the Gamsol! I made 2017 my year of exploring colouring in and it’s been fantastic. Once in a while I get some girlfriends and wine together, throw some colouring pages at them and we all just de-stress and make something nice to take home 🙂 The watercolour brush pens are gorgeous! I have been playing with paints and think this is a whole different technique (as you say, more control) and with that same gorgeous results.

Thank you for a great video – I learnt so much!

  5. My current favorite way to color is by using watercolors. They are so forgiving of my heavy handedness. 🙂 Thanks once again for your annual series.

  6. Thank you for another great video . My favourite is watercolours they alway’s look so creative ,you can do so much either with pencil’s ,brushes or ink pad,s .l have the Spectrum noir pen,s and Spectrum Aqua but my wish list is the Chameleon brushes, but would love to have the chance to win the Arteza brush pen,s . Have a great Christmas.

  7. I am no expert at colouring either, but I have just ordered some more Copics and my first set of Tombow markers, but I also enjoy using my coloured pencils.

  8. I have always loved colored pencils, and got a set of prisma colored pencils last Christmas. I’ve been having so much fun using them. Because of your videos, I’m looking into getting the zig watercolor brush pens or maybe now the arteza set. Thanks for sharing all of you ur great ideas!

  9. Very informative video Jennifer, thank you. Coloring intimidates me even though I know I’d love it if I just dove in and gave it a go. I love the look of water color and alcohol markers intrigue me immensely. I’ve put it on my new years goal list to experiment more with coloring. I’m hoping to be up for Kathy’s 30 day color challenge in 2018! Have a wonderful day Jennifer, thanks once again for sharing your time and talent.

P.S. I saw a bit back that Lila won your town’s coloring contest. I think that’s awesome and send her a BIG HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! ( I don’t Instagram myself so I could not respond.)

  10. Right now, my most “grown up” coloring medium is colored pencil, and I enjoy using it… (but sometimes I even use my kids’ Crayola markers!). I think and hope that I will be getting Copic markers for Christmas, and I am so, so, so excited!

  11. Love to color with the Zig markers. I share them with my six year-old grandson and we do some wild, colorful painting!

  12. My favorite way to color is with watercolors or colored pencils. I haven’t tried copics or markers but after watching your video I am inspired.

  13. I just found your YouTube channel, Jennifer, and I am so impressed! I have two favorite ways to color: watercolor and pencil color.

  14. Really enjoy the great blending you can get with copics. Would love to try the watercolour pens. Thanks for all the great tips!

  15. Thank you for another excellent video – and chance to win a prize! I like using Distress inks for a watercolor look, but have also started using color pencils and really enjoy that.

  16. I feel confortable with my alcool markers. I’d love to be able to do watercoloring, so I’m practicing. Before getting good enough, I’m using my Zig pens, it’s a great alternative.

  17. My favorite way to color, at the moment, is with watercolors or Tombow markers, or Prismacolor pencils. Oh and gel pens. I’m supposed to pick one?!?! 🙂

  18. I don’t do very much coloring – when I do, it is either with distress inks or an inexpensive set of watercolors.

  19. My favorite way to color is with the Zig clean color pens. They make it very easy. Thanks for sharing with us!!

  20. I use my colored pencils & blender pen most of the time but also like Tim Holy inks for coloring. I just got some new alcohol inks so will be playing with those soon. Thanks for all the great tips!!

  21. I’m not an expert by any means but I most enjoy the results I get when coloring with my zig real brush markers.
