Edge Stamping Trick
Hi! Today I am sharing a fun trick for quickly creating two cards at once… with lots of stamping!

As you likely know, I am a big fan of 2-for-1 techniques… where you can make two cards at once. Today’s trick is perfect for that! Keep in mind this works with any stamps. Watch the video to learn the trick – it is easy to do, but best understood by watching it.
To do this technique, I hold two white cardstock pieces up next to each other and stamp along the area where they meet. Then I rotate both pieces 180 degrees and repeat. Easy!
My first examples use the Clearly Besotted Pretty Pansies Stamp Set. This stamp set is great for this technique as it has large floral clusters. (These other Clearly Besotted sets would be great for this technique, too: Happily Ever After, Make a Wish, Just For You, and Sending Sunshine.)
I colored all the flowers with Copic Markers and covered them with Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer Marker. I added them to notecards and used Nuvo Drops for accents. The gorgeous sentiment is from the new Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers Stamp Set. This stamp set can be bought separately or as part of the incredible Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers Card Kit.
I also used the Clearly Besotted Pretty Pansies Stamp Set for these next two cards. However, this time I colored rainbow flowers and used a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp / Gina K We Can Do This Stamp Set. (100% of the SALES from this set goes to hurricane relief. My next pair of examples feature the Simon Says Stamp Let Us Rejoice Stamp Set. This floral bouquet looks so lovely framing these cards. I used Nuvo Drops for the berries, too. The sentiment on the red card is also from the Simon Says Stamp Let Us Rejoice Stamp Set. So beautiful.
The pink example again uses a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers Stamp Set.
The WPlus9 Christmas Rose Stamp Set is also great for this technique. The card on the left uses a Birch Press Just Because sentiment, and the card on the right uses a Clearly Besotted Say Its Christmas sentiment.
Adding Wink of Stella Shimmer adds so much to these almost-one-layer-cards.
I am really enjoying making mini cards these days. These two minis feature the main image from the Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers Stamp Set and a great sentiment from the Hero Arts You Are Loved Stamp Set.
You can also do this technique with smaller images formed into a cluster. I again used the Simon Says Stamp Kind Flowers Stamp Set along with a sentiment from the Birch Press Just Because Stamp Set.
