Creating winter window scenes is so much fun. The forest stamp from the Simon Says Stamp / Gina K Designs Warmer With You Stamp Set looks amazing when white heat embossed on the acetate window! (This stamp set is part of STAMPtember. The set is a collaboration between the two companies and is available only at Simon Says Stamp with limited quantities.)
I created a frame for the Simon Says Stamp / Gina K Designs Warmer With You forest image by stacking several Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames Die Cuts. For my first example, I filled the frame with lots of Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter. The movement and shine of this glitter is amazing!
On top, I added a cutie bunny from the Avery Elle Winter Wonderland Stamp Set and a sentiment from the Avery Elle Brrring on the Joy Stamp Set stamped on a My Favorite Things Essential Speech Bubbles Die Cut.
This next example also features a shaker window filled with Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter. This time I created the frame by stacking Avery Elle Shaker Tag Die Cuts.
That bird is from the Flora and Fauna Winter Aviary Stamp Set and the sentiment again is from the Avery Elle Brrring on the Joy Stamp Set on a My Favorite Things Essential Speech Bubbles Die Cut.
I know some people aren’t big on shaker cards so I wanted to show another fun way to use the Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter. I started by covering a piece of blue cardstock with Be Creative Tape and lots of glitter. I then formed the frame with the stamped acetate window on top. This keeps the glitter from rubbing off.
The cutie snowman is from the Simon Says Stamp / Gina K Designs Warmer With You Stamp Set. I added dots of Tonic Gloss White Nuvo Crystal Drops on the hat for dimension.
I also created a card for those of you who aren’t fans of glitter. To create the look of snow falling in the forest, I sprinkled on a tiny bit of white embossing powder on the acetate and heat set it from behind the acetate. It looks like snow flurries!
I added an adorable deer from the Avery Elle Winter Wonderland Stamp Set and a sentiment from the Avery Elle Brrring on the Joy Stamp Set stamped on a My Favorite Things Essential Speech Bubbles Die Cut.
