Product Release Close-Up: Essentials By Ellen + Examples + Giveaway
Hello again. Today I have a close look at the new small-by-mighty Essentials by Ellen release… along with several card ideas and a giveaway!

Talk about a fun release! The newest Essentials by Ellen release is wonderful. I used a few of the new products to make several cards. My favorite stamp set in this group is the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backgrounds Stamp Set – it has excellent elements for making backdrops for clean and simple cards.
For my first card, I used the border from the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backgrounds Stamp Set to create a rain background. It would also be great grass! The images are from the older Essentials by Ellen Bear Ware Stamp Set and that oh-so-perfect sentiment is from the new Essentials by Ellen Mirror Mirror Stamp Set.
I also used many backdrops from the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backgrounds Stamp Set. You can use these in SO many ways. I kept mine simple! For the first card, I did some overlapped stamping and on the second? A bit of ombre. Those sweet deer from the Essentials by Ellen Oh Deer Stamp Set can be used for so many occasions also.
And talk about CUTE! This otter from the Essentials by Ellen Otterly Awesome Stamp Set is otterly adorable. I really like how the coordinating die cuts the hands so you can tuck a heart inside. I put him on a background that was overlap stamped with white pigment ink and several blue inks.
I wanted to do one final card using the Essentials by Ellen Wonky Backgrounds Stamp Set. I did some simple rainbow stamping and added a sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Mirror Mirror Stamp Set. I added some glitter over the dots for dimension and shine… and a simple silver glitter Lawn Fawn Heart Dies in the center.
