  1. Of course! There is a stamp i have and it say ” 100% handmade.” I like using it on most of my projects, such as cards or little treat handmade boxes.

  2. When making cards I seem to give them to people so havent added the made by stamp to them. I would like to as it may be a nice touch but my stamping skills need more work.

  3. I don’t usually stamp the cards I have made but I like the idea of doing it. Especially for family members and friends. A nice custom stamp I think would be a nice touch.

  4. I have several different “Created by” , “Made for you by”, “Made with love by” stamps that I use interchangeably on my cards. Sometimes I add the year also.

  5. I don’t have a personalized stamp however i’ll mark the year on the back of the card with my initials and will add a flower, butterfly or whatever is my fancy for the day. I would love to have my own stamp but want to be much more proficient before adding.

  6. Hi Jennifer,

I have been adding a handmade stamp on the back of my cards for years…I went to a local stamp store and had one made, so that others would know if I made a card or purchased it for the various holidays and events. I have recently found your site and enjoy your talent and helpful style…Thank you!

  7. I like to say hand created because they are creations! I never say home made. That term is overused and doesn’t imply “art”. I think what we do is art!

  8. Yes, i stamped the back of my cards most of the time but not all. My family and friends says it makes them feel extra special knowing that i made the cards myself 🙂

  9. I had a personal stamp made by “Stamp of Life” and I use it on all cards and handmade albums. I like it so that your friends and family know you handmade them something special

  10. Need a misti to make crafting time with my nieces so much easier :))
Such useful tips from a hands on crafter !

  11. I do use a personalised stamp on the back of my cards which I think just adds a nice finishing touch, but before watching your videos Jennifer, I hadn’t thought of using it on the back of my envelope.

  12. Hi Jennifer…I love your videos! I have a question for you….after this video, I bought the magnets, one for each of my Mistis. Thank you for the AWESOME IDEA! I would LOVE to use the same kind of Washi tape you used but I have looked online everywhere and at all my local craft stores and came up with nothing. Could you please rest another crafters weary soul and please help by saying where your washi tape is from??
    Thank you in advance!
    Di

  13. I love all the stamps sets, but the purr-fect friends is my favorite, would be great to have it, thanks for the tutorial, your cards are beautiful!

  14. Yes! I love to “finish” my cards with a stamp that says “Just a creative type of girl”., then I sign my name below the stamped image. My cards wouldn’t feel finished without that final little detail. I like to think little details make a difference.

  15. I don’t stamp the back because I don’t have a stamp for that. Started looking into getting a custom one made. I only make cards for friends and family and they know I make them. My birthday is March 29 and I’m hoping to get a Misti for my birthday . I’m starting to watch videos so I know what to do. I love the idea of the magnet bars vs. The round ones and laminating the paper. Going to watch your video now

  16. I have been trying to learn stamping for years, The Misti looks like such a problem solver, I have been wishing for it ever since it came out. I mainly make birthday cards, this last one has taken me 3 months, I am ashamed to say. I have had a couple of strokes, things seem to be so much harder for me now.
Anyway, I make cards and always put on the back, that it is homemade by me.

  17. I always stamp or leave a date on the back of my cards so the person receiving them can look back and see when they got that particular card. I started doing that on my kids cards because they grow up so quickly.

  18. Have seen so many use the Misty and have been tempted to buy one as seems would be easy to use and make card making easier esp. if doing multiples of image. Love your videos, and cards—thanks for showing how to make.-

  19. Sometimes I sign my cards by other times I don’t. I think I would more if I had a MISTI set up to use to do that.

  20. I would love to win a Mini Misti. I had a small stamp made to stamp on the back of the cards I make. It says “Crafted by Diane Harl”.

  21. I have a small stamp that says handmade by and then i initial. thanks for all of your invaluable help!

  22. I plan to get a stamp eventually. Your videos have inspired me and thanks to you I use my scrapbooking tools for card making now. Love your helpful tips!

  23. No I dont stamp “handmade by” on the back of my cards. Until now I’ve only written it on sometimes. 🙂

  24. Hello! I’d like to say thank you for all the work and effort you put forth in your videos. I also have started stamping Handmade by Claudia on the back of my cards. Before I stamped “Handmade by” to my cards, I had initialled and dated (year only) on my cards. ,😉.

  25. it’s 09-11-20 and i just found out about this great stamping tool, Misti. i don’t know how i have been stamping without it. thank you for all the different techniques and tools that you teach us on. Love all of it!!!

  26. Hello, I sometimes stamp the back of my card with” handmade by”…I don’t do it consistently…
I’m sure I would if I had a tool like the MISTI. Inconsistent results mean I discard alot of cards.
    Thank you..

  27. no, usually I do not sign my cards. My sister, Betty, keeps telling me to do so, and I get the idea, but I just enjoy making them and feel no need to sign them.

  28. Absolutely! I have several that I’m fond of. It took awhile though. Like others it took me awhile to be proud of my work. Now I’m encountering others to do the same.

  29. I have two stamps I use. One says “Handmade with love” and the other says “Recycled with love by Carolyn”. I make a lot of cards for family and friends and for our local community library to raise funds. I also recycle cards and hand finish them with embellishments or mount on nice mats and layers for the library and other fund raisers.
