Guest Artist: Bendy Card with Jessica Frost-Ballas

One of my favorite things to do is to share guest artists here on my blog. There is so much talent out there! Today I am honored to have the kind Jessica Frost-Ballas here to share a fun interactive “bendy card” tutorial. She shares lots of other great tips along the way, too!

In her video, Jessica shares how to create a fun bendy card. It may seem complicated at first but if you follow her directions, it is a breeze! Her card features the Mama Elephant Artic Penguins Stamps and Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders Dies.

I think this type of card would be great to add to the top of a present, so it can be folded into it’s dimensional form. Then the flaps can open and reveal the messages inside!

In the video, Jessica also shows how to make a slider element with Lawn Fawn Slide On Over Dies and how to do mirror stamping with the Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Backdrops Stamp Set.

Thank you Jessica for guesting on my blog today. You can find more of Jessica’s work on her blog, All The Sparkle.

  1. This has got to be the cutest card ever and not because of those adorable penguins either. The card moves! How cool is that? I think you used a die cutter for a lot of it so I can’t make this card but I can be amazed for the person who made this card and be amazed at the card itself. My nephew who is a penguin lover would have loved this card. His last year of high school (he’s now a Freshman in college) he took an art course. He loved it! He said it was so much fun to be creative and he loved using colors. That’s why he would love this card aside from the penguins. Love it! I’m going to watch the video anyway though to see how you did it. Maybe someday………
