I had put a post on Instagram admitting I had placed several Simon Says Stamp orders this week. (Bad me! lol) Folks asked what I purchased – here are a few of the things…

  • Clarity Brushes – They are back in stock, so I got another package for myself and one for a giveaway.
  • Judikins Sparkle Embossing Powder – I was running low on this powder, so I ordered some more. I have tried many sparkle embossing powders and this is by far my fave! I keep going back to it. The jar is big so it should last awhile.
  • Sugar Pea Celebrate Die – Perfect for birthday cards or any occasion worth celebrating.
  • Card Boxes – These are great for mailing bulky cards.
  • Fiskars Reinforced Trimmer – I have been using this trimmer for awhile now and I can truly say that I like it. If you had trouble getting a straight cut with other trimmers, this is a great option for you.
  • Power Poppy Stamp Set – This fall stamp set will be fun to color and the sentiments are great.

What have you bought lately that you like?

Have a great weekend!

  1. I just received two orders – one from Hero Arts, with a bunch of inks and the Color Layering For You stamp set, which I got inky just the other day. I also received an order from Simon Says (didn’t know there was a discount coming! Rats!) – looking forward to getting some Avery Elle (Big Greetings and Sentimental) and Wplus9 (That is All, and Beautiful Bouquet Ranunculus) stamps inky! Also bought a few Hero Arts stencils to give to some crafty friends – I was so happy popping them in the mail yesterday 😀

  2. I absolutely love the Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script. Also splurged on the new colors of Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, and finally got my hands on the long out-of stock MFT Modern Mosaic background stamp. woo hoo!

  3. I am new to the paper crafting world. I’ve been an inconsistent scrapbooker for years, but your blog got me interested in handmade cards! Thanks for the info about the sale. 🙂 Happy 4th!

  4. It is always fun to see what people are purchasing. Especially when we know it comes from someone we trust to say they like that product.

My last purchase was a MISTI. A big purchase for me and I really am enjoying it.

  5. Ugh! Clarity brushes are out of stock again. I would love to find an all purpose flower stamp. Every time you demo a project- I never have the right set! Any recommendations for a set to use with lots of techniques?

  6. The clarity brushes are already out! Boo!

I have recently made a purchase from The Ton Stamps. They have some really nice things going on over there!

  7. I, too, love my Fiskars Reinforced Trimmer, but I need some video help from you. The bold lines that mark off different sizes………. How do I put those into use? ?

  8. You show Clarity brushes back in stick, but when you click on it to go to Simon Ssys Stamp they say Out Of Stock-as usual. It’s very frustrating to see blog posts and videos on techniques and products and being referred to Simon Says Stamps only to go to their site and find it out of stock! This happens very often,

  9. I love Simon Says Stamps, but it seem every time there is a sale, I miss out. The items are always out of stock that I want to purchase. And I don’t see that they will let you make the purchase at the sale price and then ship when they do arrive restocked. What a shame.

  10. I have bought two different times in the past week and think I may need to place another order!! I bought the Happy Days dies to go along with the stamp set , some wavy scallop stitches and finally got the mirror stamp set!!! I have also bought the 3 new lawn fawn ink pads, the stamp shammy and the Neat and Tangled Awesome stamp and die set!! I bought a few things from the Mama Elephant site too because they were sold out at SSS.

  11. I have focused on Altenew layered flower stamps and ink pads. Those ink pads coordinated in light, medium and dark are the secret to making their layered flower stamps go from great to awesome!

  12. Great sale and thanks for sharing what you ordered! I ordered HA ombre ink pads – I’ve been wanting them for a while. Enjoy your day!

  13. I just placed an order for the SS stacked hearts. I loved your card video with the stars and that was out of stock so the next best thing, hearts. And that pixel card you made for Colin’s friend. Super cute. So somehow the heart and circle with the face dies ended up in my cart. I have loved all the things you’ve recommended so I figured how could I go wrong. I am very easily enabled. 🙂

  14. I recent;y got the clarity brushes – love them, finally I can apply ink directly to paper – LOL

Happy Indépendance day to you and your family, and not forgetting all your US readers 🙂

  15. Sugarpea’s Hello Sunshine stamp set is a favorite because it goes with the children’s book, “I Wish You More”
by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. The little girl is just like one of the pages in the book that says “I wish you more pause than fast forward.” Your Next Stamp’s Fairy Tale Friends has the cutest critters and a sentiment I love: “Hugs to a special friend who never lets me forget how magical life can be.” WPlus9 recently got a BIG order from me. Also had to add to my Distress Paints collection for Creative Chemistry 102. Reverse Confetti’s giraffe stamp is also getting lots of love this summer. So darn cute!

  16. Jennifer, thanks for sharing some of your order with us! My most recent order is from SU! and I’m getting ready for another one — I’m also a scrapbooker so some of their papers are perfect for me! My most recent SSS order was for the July card kit! I loved the cards various people made with it and I love have the little cubed inks to carry to crops and such and the water color brush that came in the kit, as well as the stamp set, especially the sentiment, “Look for the Miracles,” I know I’ll get a lot of use out of that!
I’d love to see you use the clarity brushes in a video — or link to a video you’ve already done with them as I’m not exactly sure why they are so special!

  17. Oh man! I wanted to get the clarity brushes but I missed them 🙁 they are out of stock! And the shimmer spray is out of stock too. But I might be getting the judikins powder, I want to try it out.

  18. I bought a MISTI and I am getting to know it slowly but surely. I like it so much I bought my mum one. I am flying to England on July 4th and I will give it to her then. I also bought the Tim Holtz Crazy Cats… and Crazy Things…and Crazy Talk…plus Chemistry 101, 102 and eventually 103. It’s going to be a crafty summer. When I go back to England, my mum, my sister and I all craft together and we go to craft shows.

  19. Hi,
lately I have bought the Clarity brushes. It works very well. Also I bought from SU, Sizzix,Tim Holtz and many more. I like to try new product. Thansks for sharing new products with us. Excuse my English I live in Québec Canada.
    Have a nice day!

  20. I bought a mini misti- LOVE IT, now I want the 12×12 for scrapbooking! Lots of distress paint for Creative Chemistry, HA clear and fine white embossing powder, Altenew Persian Motifs, SS SPRINGflower stamp set, TH wild flowers stamps, TH mini stencils, and reinkers. Going to check out the sale I need some big bold sentiment stamps

  21. My most recent purchases from SS include the July 2016 card kit (Handwritten Floral Greetings) and the Sophisticated Script stamp sets in both lower and uppercase. I also invested in several different rainbow dies in different shapes and sizes to experiment in making different types of cards. My first was the die cut inlay, which although time consuming (because of having to cut each individual color and then piece back together), was well worth the effort for a special someone. I’ve been practicing with the new script sets – aligning each letter so it looks continuous is an art form all its own! Having fun though, which is all that matters to me!

  22. It’s not new, but I love my Cutterpillar. Have just been using it for paper and didn’t want to ruin it with thicker stuff like matboard, but wanted to shave off just a ragged edge on a book cover I made and it worked great!

  23. Just got Altenew’s Painted Poppy stamp and die set. . . and I’m having so much fun with it. Love it!! Also, love Altenew’s ink sets!! So much fun creating layers with them.

  24. Bought more Copics recently. Will buy more, still building my collection. L-O-V-E the Copics although I’m wondering whether to wait and do it during my upcoming trip to Japan. Something tells me it’ll be cheaper in the US despite what I hear online.

  25. I guess I missed your other video on the Clarity brushes and if they make using stamps or paints on cards easier I must find the video for sure! Thanks for everything!

  26. I bought several clearly Bessoted stamp sets and dies, they are super cute plus they are perfect for making cards, flash cards, Christmas ornaments and so much more for my grand babies.

  27. Just ordered more Altenew collections! On another site I ordered Spectrum Noir pens to try out, as well as more colors of the Nuvo crystal drops…I can’t get enough of this great product and I believe it is my most favorite recent find! (Jo-An’s has several colors in stock on-line, for $2.09!)

  28. Love that you share your shopping list…makes it easy! I am excited to see more on these brushes!

  29. Gosh I’m checking emails too late, the brushes are already out of stock! Thanks for posting some suggestions though. I recently bought that Fiskars Trimmer and absolutely love it. And my SSS Uplifting Thoughts stamps arrived yesterday. I haven’t used them yet but I am so happy with those wonderful sentiments, know it will be a favorite!

  30. Thanks for the sale code. By the time I wake up, everything you recommend is sold out. Have to look at everything else!

  31. Thanks so much for the Coupon Code, and for sharing some of your faves with us! I received SSS Sketch Ranunculus stamp set yesterday, and I love it…I’m creating a card with it right now 🙂
Looks like the Clarity Brushes are out of stock already…have to get them next time they’re back in stock!

  32. My most recent purchases haven’t arrived yet! They are from SU and include a stamp set called Best Birds( I think that’s correct) and a pack of the Sahara Sand cardstock ( a great neutral color that I love). My most favorite recent purchase that I have in-house, is the Gansai Tanbi Starry Colors watercolor set. They are fun to use and add just the best amount of shine and sparkle.

  33. Hey Jennifer, I went to order Clarity brushes but the site said they were sold out !! I just received an order from Wplus9. I bought the set of stamps with the critters banged up, one has a crutch. They are soooooo cute. Sorry I can’t remember the name of it. (I’m not at home right now!!) Happy 4th of July to you and your wonderful family.

  34. SSS should have you on their payroll!! Everything on your list is OUT OF STOCK! I’m working on my order from them now. I need something to get me inspired…so I signed up for your next class on embossing! Can’t wait!

  35. I’m waiting for the Fisher’s trimmer. Next I’m going to check out HA. And I also have a Newton Nook set on order.

  36. I bought the original Misti (8.5×10 size). Then the mini came out so I had to have that one also. I have to say I like and use the mini more than the bigger one.

  37. I went to a Stamp Expo last week and got stamps, dies (a huge haul), Lindy’s Stamp Gang powders to be mixed into sparkle sprays, and a MISTI!!!!!!! oh, and some patterned papers, alcohol inks and yupo ‘paper’.
    Blessings
    Maxine

  38. I just ordered some Wild Rose Studio stamps for Christmas. I like these because they have a whole scene in one stamp. They are really good quality and fun to color.

  39. I recently received the Clarity brushes, and so far I’m very impressed with them. I’m looking forward to using those intricate and delicate stencils that have been waiting for just the right tool. I also got the Paper Smooches Mirror blocks to use with the reverse stamping technique I learned from you. For those readers looking for the Clarity brushes, go ahead and put yourselves on the notify or reserve lists at SSS. I didn’t have to wait long!

  40. I recently ordered a few of the new stamp sets from Sunny Studio Stamps and SugarPea Designs. And just today the new Hero Arts kit. My favorite kit by far with those jellyfish.

  41. Well I got some brushes although not the ones you featured…but I also got the shimmer mist you used making that floating stars card…. Excited to use. So pretty.

  42. Jennifer I just love watching your videos!! I have learned so many new techniques. Also I have picked up so many new stamps . I would love to win one if the giveaways .
