Video: Felt Die Cut Bows
Hi there. I needed to make a gift for a precious little girl so I thought I would share a video in hopes it inspires you. I warn you – felt die cut bows are so much fun to make!

I really feel like a handmade gift is the best kind. (If time permits!) So when I needed a gift for a sweet little girl, I thought I would break out my craft supplies and makes something by hand. In the video I show die cut felt bows that I made to put on hair clips, but you can create the bows for various other gifts, too.
I used the new Reverse Confetti Bow Die and various colorful felts. (You can see the felts I used in the thumbnails at the end of this post.) This die is unique in that it offers added pieces that can be used to layer the bow in several ways.
To make layering easy, I used Stick It on the back of some of the felt. However, you could also glue the pieces together with a fabric glue, hot glue, etc. I assembled the bow on an inexpensive hair clip.
On some of the bows, I added flowers cut with the Reverse Confetti Petals and Posies Dies. You could use pretty much any die cuts in the center – hearts, flowers, stars, initials, etc. Buttons are the perfect final touch. (I can’t wait to use the new buttons from May Flaum when they come out!)
I thought it would be fun to have the bows in a package they could use for storage or reuse. These plastic bag-like-boxes from Reverse Confetti are such fun. I will be using these for a lot of gifts in the future.
On the die cut piece I put inside, I white heat embossed the “precious little girl” sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Fancy Word Coordinates Stamps. (This set has a lot of sweet sentiments!)
I hope this inspires you to dig through your stash and find ways to use your crafty goodies to make handmade gifts.
