  1. Thank you Jennifer! Please keep them coming!
Q1. What is your favourite Kraft cardstock? I’ve been using SU (and love the tone), but have to order from out of the country. (Canada here). Some of them are not a perfect Kraft colour by far! (Michael’s is a dull milky brown for example).
Q2. Have you seen any links for ideas for organisation of our hobby in apartments, where most of us have to dedicate part of our living room or dining space, and not a spare room?

  2. Can’t wait to see the craft room video! And you do just fine in front of the camera! Thanks for a great Take Five!

  3. Thanks so much for taking the time to do another Take 5 video…love! And who can resist cute puppies? I like to make cards for friends when they lose beloved pets…I use a sentiment of my own that I make on the computer…”in our homes for a while but in our hearts furever.” Wish someone would make into a stamp set! And those new heart dies would make perfect accents. So glad your family found a new love (also a great sentiment)!

  4. Jennifer, You are such a beautiful person…inside and out! I couldn’t help but cry when you told that the little 10 year old boy had passed away. My heart aches for his family! I didn’t get motivated enough in time to send cards and it really made me sad that I had missed out on that blessing. I’m excited to learn of a new card venture, and sad to tell you that my first child was miscarried. Many many years ago, but I still remember the heartache. If I can spread a small bit of comfort for one of these dear couples, I want to be involved! I found your blog recently and am so blessed and thankful that I did! YOU are so talented, I am awed with your cards and techniques. Thank you so much for your kindness in sharing and encouraging others to spread kindness. Your videos have become a wonderful source of inspiration and I have learned so much! God bless you and I am so thrilled to have found another sister in Christ!! Happy crafting!!

  5. Thank you, Jennifer. Loved the video, and the new addition to your family.. SO cute!! I’ve been a fan of May’s for quite a while now. I love her cards, and her videos, and completely agree with everything you said about her. I hope she continues to do videos. I hope you do as well. I always enjoy coming to your blog. Good luck with your card drive. I hope it’s a great success. Prayers for you and yours. ???

  6. Im not sure why you don’t like to be in front of the camera. You are gorgeous and a natural in front of the camera. Thanks for the great info. P.S. Love Foxie.

  7. Thanks so much for the great take 5 video. It is much better than TV! I love all the tips, products, info etc and you are the nicest presenter. Your new puppy is gorgeous too! I would love to hear more about her as she grows up as I have always been fascinated by Hungarian Vizlas, when you said she was a “velcro” dog that got me imagining about bits of cardstock sticking to her or something LOL. Looking forward to the next video. Best wishes with that Caring Hearts Card Drive, what a caring idea.

  8. Your craft room is so pretty. Your encouraging tips are very inspiring. I also craft at our basement and with the cold weather, I am having a hard time to create anything. The products released during CHA made me a little bit dizzy on what I should start saving for. I appreciate your demos of certain products to give us an idea if it will work out with us or not. Have a brilliant day!

  9. Thank you so much for all this information. It was great. I, like so many others, appreciate your sharing your thoughts, knowledge and ideas. I also appreciate you not introducing products that are not yet available and won’t be for some time. Foxy is a great addition and I will look forward to his input in future videos.

  10. I appreciate the outline you’ve included under the video. I often don’t want to sit through a video, and providing the highlights enables me to get the info and/or look for that specific segment in the video. BTW, looks like you’ve been drinking from the fount of eternal youth 🙂

  11. I would love to see more felt used in your videos. And tips on cutting clean using a die cut machine. And tips for a good adhesive that does not go through the felt. I bet there are enough ways to use felt or fabric or fiber to fill a week long online class. I FEEL LIKE USING FELT.

  12. Thanks for taking the time to share with us in such a down-to-earth and fun manner. It’s a joy to watch your videos and I appreciate your tips and I appreciate your kindness and caring for others. Foxy is too cute!!!

  13. Foxy is Adorable! I always love your tips, ideas and suggestions. I have a question or suggestion perhaps. I have recently been seeing 4 Bar cards more and more, I love the size (less space to fill up for those of us who have a hard time thinking outside of the box, ha ha). I would love to see more info, idea’s, products geared to this size and measurements regarding 4 Bar. Questions like, cutting card stock for top fold and regular side fold. Envelopes? Thank you!

  14. Love this Jennifer! You are great on camera! And Foxy rocks! I’ve been following May Parks for awhile now and agree with you on her stunning talent! Thanks for the blogging advice… I need to just blog about my cards and life in Alaska and forget the numbers (or lack thereof!). God bless you!

  15. Thanks for taking the time to talk to us. You are so brave, I could never be on camera! Its always great to discover new talent too 🙂

  16. Your new baby is as sweet as can be. I enjoy these video’s so much, thank you for them. I’m sorry you’re not comfortable doing them, because they do – indeed- turn out beautifully.

  17. Finally had a chance to watch your entire video. I don’t know where to begin telling you how inspirational and informative you have been since I found your blog X # of years ago. I always look forward to seeing your new creations – not to mention running to buy most of it too. lol. I listened to your story about your friend Kim who miscarried twins. My daughter, also a Kim, miscarried twins about 4 years ago and it was devastating to us. I had gone with her for her appointment to keep an eye on her little son while she had the sono – that dreadful sono that caused the technician to actually break down and cry when she couldn’t hear any heartbeats. So I know what your Kim has gone through and I’ll be sure to participate in your card campaign for all the other women who face this awful twist of fate. But I believe God closes one door and open another, and a year after that day my Kim had this beautiful healthy baby girl. Thank you so much, Jennifer, just for being you.

  18. Foxy is adorable!! I love your video and thank you for all your tips. I have a stack of cards for the Lasting Hearts card drive sitting on my desk and every day I try to make one more to add to it. It is a fantastic and thoughtful idea to put cards with the books and I am so very grateful to be a part of it. I made cards for Operation Write Home and since they are no longer accepting cards, I have looked for somewhere to send cards that I know they would be appreciated. You can count on me to be a contributor for any and all other drives you may have.

  20. I am behind on my visits and trying to catch up this weekend. I loved watching the video and am hoping to make some cards for the Lasting Hearts drive. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate you, not only as a teacher but as a wonderful person!

  21. Your new puppy, Foxy, is absolutely adorable. We are a kitty family and lost one of our beloved kitties last fall as well. We just adopted a beautiful little girl who is 3 from a rescue here in our area. She definitely has put the smile back on our faces.
As always your videos are full of helpful information and I will try to get some cards together for that card drive.
    Thanks Jennifer!

  22. Thank you for the video. Buffalo Stamps and Stuff had you as a guest artist a few years ago and I did take the class.
I have to say you look and sound the same. So that means you look fantastic on the video and so does the new puppy.
Love you enamel dot and gem storage idea. Mine are just a mess in a plastic bin. I’m going to get to work on them
and making some cards for that card drive.

  25. Jennifer, thanks for being you and sharing your kindness and creativity with the world- I always enjoy watching your videos. Your warmth and sincerity come shining through every time! I will echo another’s comment about being intrigued with felt right now and looking for suggestions on where to purchase quality felt and what papercrafting supplies I already have that I might use with it. The card drives are a great cause and I look forward to participating in them- thanks for the info.
