There really are more coloring tools that I do like. However, I tried to limit my list to things I think others would like and that I use most.

Also, this list of Favorite Crafty Things may also be used as a gift guide. Feel free to give this link to a loved one. You can keep up to date on all the topics HERE… and for my lists from 2014, click HERE.

  1. My favorite coloring method is still using color pencils because it is inexpensive and I have better control of the colors

  2. I’m just starting to dip my toe into this, so for right now I stick to colored pencils. After watching your videos though, I really want to try the Clean Color Brush Markers and the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I’ve put them on my Christmas wish list, but it would be awesome to win this giveaway!

  3. My favorite coloring method is water coloring with distress – can’t help it, it’s quick, easy, and a surprise result in the end!

  4. I really don’t have a favorite right now. I am learning to use the alcohol markers, but like colored pencils or watercolor crayons. I don’t have any watercolor markers but would love to try the Zig.

  5. I do not color much, but like watercolor pencils and also Distress Markers. Thanks again for another great video !

  6. My favorite way of coloring is using distress inks and watercoloring with them. Although… I’m thinking of getting some Gansai Tambi watercolor inks to try out =P

  7. I usually use Promarkers, which are alcohol ink markers similar to Copics. I loved seeing this video today and may need to branch out to more watercoloring! Thanks!

  8. I have to say that I love using my Copics and my CTMH Shin Han markers to color. I love the way they look when done. Thanks for a chance to win. 😀

  9. I took a calligraphy class many years ago so I like my calligraphy markers. I really haven’t done too much coloring yet but would like to learn.

  10. Coloring is something I am trying to learn about. It’s been way too long since I colored as a kid. There are so many new fun products on the market. At the moment I simply use ink pads… for stamping and as watercolor.

  11. My favorite coloring method is Copics, even though I’m not great at it. The next favorite method is watering coloring because I don’t have to be so precise and perfect! Maybe I should flip it around … 🙂

  12. I just board “promarkers” so I’m learning to coulor with those – but “Clean Color Real Brush Markers” looks very very interstering.

  13. I haven’t been able to invest in Copics, but I recently invested in a big Prismacolour Scholar set, and I love colouring with those pencil crayons! They’re easy to control and so blendable. They don’t work as well as inks or paint for a background, but I might experiment with some gamsol!

  14. Thank you for a chance to win This giveaway. My favorite coloring method is color pencils… and watercoloring by using Tim Holtz Distress ink and pads. Love to play with different methods. Merry Christmas an love from Denmark. 🙂

  15. My favorite coloring method is using markers. I have an old set of Zig writers. I like the idea of the easy blending of the “Clean Color Real Brush Markers”, so it would be nice to try those.

  16. Jennifer, thank you for creating your ‘favorite things.’ It’s easy to comprehend and you’ve shared all different types of successful crafting tools. I’m a newbie to the art world & coloring world. I’ve never been too good about staying in the lines, however, I love to color with markers while sitting in the living room with my husband as he watches tv. Personally, I fancy the fine tip/brush tip type because I use coloring to help me with my fine motor skills. I’ve permanent brain & nerve damage resulting from a fall while stationed at Ft. Sill, OK (Home of Field Artillery – USA ARMY) and as time passes I lose more and more. My budget is tight – I’ll use colored sharpie markers if that’s my only choice – however with your help, I know where I should invest my money. The supplies I currently use are a miscellaneous junk drawer eBay win (I’ve a few prisms color pencils – like butter!). I’d love to try real art tools.

  17. I’ve recently just discovered your videos & blog. I’m just getting back into cardmaking. I went to a scrapbook expo in August and purchased spectrum noir markers and pencils and have been experimenting. Love the look of the zig markers, can’t wait to try them.

  18. Thanks for another great video, My favorite is my copic markers. I have about 130. I want to try the clean color markers though.

  19. I am so interested in these markers and would love the opportunity to use them! I have always loved watercolor and these just make sense! Thank you Jennifer for sharing and an opportunity to enter. God bless you… Eliana

  20. My favorite coloring method is crayons with my kids; it’s fun to watch them explore how colors blend together and create different colors.

  21. I am new to this as am learning how to use Copics and Colored pencils right now. I have learned much watching the card making videos using the copics.

  22. I recently started purchasing Copics and I love them…. still learning. I have been eyeing Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and would love to try them out.

  23. I love my Copics but also love to water color. I use the distress markers now but want to learn to use it all. Thanks for the videos and have a Merry Christmas!!!

  24. I love to color with Copic markers. I love that the pens are refillable, so I never have to buy a new pen. They dry quickly and blend beautifully. I’m starting to experiment with water more – I love peerless watercolors, and the Zig Clean Color Brush Markers!
