Share Handmade Kindness Wrap Up + Giveaway

Hello!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who participated in the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge this month.

[Watch on YouTube HERE.]

I hope you will continue this “movement” and join me for future challenges.

Keep in mind that you can still send in cards for the Card Shower for Emily and Xander… and that many giveaways are still open in my recent previous posts.

Also, please remember to check out the Kind Campaign. They are working hard to stop bullying and spread a kindness.

  1. my favourite card that I have given was a ‘sending smiles across the miles’ card to my boyfriend during our long distance relationship. we used to send each other cards and handwritten letters all the time <3 🙂

  2. Thank you Jennifer for this kindness campaign, it has been a good reminder that we all can be a little kinder. My fave card was to a 89 yr old patient at a nursing home, she was beyond thrilled with my simple card.

  3. LOVE the Hero Acts of Kindness. We ALL need to be more kind. Lets spread kindness with stamping!
    Peace on Earth to all!!

  4. My favorite handmade kindness was done face to face and brightened the day of a very frustrated and bullied sales clerk. I acknowledged her with a smile and thanked her for her efforts. She indicated she had only heard complaints since arriving at work and a kind word just brought her a breath of fresh air and the ability to smile again. It was great to see her smile and even an hour later the smile still existed and customers were being kinder to her.

  5. I think one of my favorite cards was for my grandma Joyce’s 90th birthday! She always appreciated any thing I made. She passed on this year and I miss her so much.

  6. My favorite card was made for my oncologist who saved my ife. I was only given a week to live with a very rare advanced high aggressive childrens lymphoma cancer. That was 1 year ago. I made a card with the quote from Mother Teresa which says in kindness we cast a stone and that causes a ripple to go forward-we bless others. He has it on his desk still. Kindness saves lives beyond what medicine can do,

  7. This is a wonderful idea to help kids with bullying in school……keep up the great work (and thanks to Hero Arts for donating 25%!). I wish that I had more time to create more cards – the days turn into months so quickly. I don’t have a special card that stands out to remember. I used to make monthly cards for my grandmother when she was alive and she always looked for them in the mail (and if I was late – I would hear about it – so I tried never to be late in sending).

  8. The best card I have ever give away was to my younger sister, when she was living in New Zealand for one year. We live in Norway, so it is very far away. It was actually a card made with Dylusion ink and some handmade details. My sister loved it <3

  9. The favourite card I have ever given is the one I made for my father-in-law for his 60th b’day…
It was a 5 panel card…with a cake popup and also a card in a box attached to it…
The part I loved the most was that all the family members wrote messages on 2 of the panels…

  10. I have been card making for so long it’s really hard to say what was my favorite. I can however tell you what was the most favorite card I received. This year for my birthday my husband chose a silly but true birthday card and the message he wrote impacted me so much that I cried tears of joy. 1 John4:16-18

I really appreciate that you started the post with Black inks — the color I reach for the most!! Thank you for putting your heart and soul into this series. Your readers really appreciate all your hard work.

    Blessings, Bernie B

  12. Jennifer, I just surfed into your site yesterday. It is a wonderful and complete site. It has everything I would want to look up…and if not you have the tools to find another site. You made my day and are making a dent in my wallet. 🙂

  13. First of all I wanted to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of these challenges, they were really fun! And to all your sponsors for being part of these month full of inspiration 🙂 I guess my favorite card would have to be the first one I made for my oldest child, 4 years ago, he still treasures it and keeps it on his nightstand.
Thanks again gor all you do!
    Have a wonderful day!
