Take a look at your stamp sets. I bet almost all of them have tiny little “filler” images. They often go unused. However, with this technique you can use them to create a background with blended color.

The sentiment and the heart images are from the Hero Arts Acts of Kindness Stamp Set. (More info on that below.) And the inks? You can use any inks you want – I just grabbed some of my favorite colors. Here are combos I used in case you want to make the same – all are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this post:

CARD 1: Hero Arts Bubble Gum, WPlus9 Miami Spice, Hero Arts Bubble Gum
CARD 2: Altenew Dusk, Ocean Waves and Sea Glass (these colors are divine!)
CARD 3: Altenew Ocean Waves and Forest Glades, Hero Arts Butter Bar, Simon Says Stamp Orange Peel and Hot Lips

To go along with the confetti sentiment, I added tiny sequins. The perfect touch.

These cards really came together quickly once I got going. I plan to make more, but using small stars for a birthday card.

  1. My go to color combo is always pink and yellow. I love pink and am always finding a way to add that in a project.

  2. I do love using Kraft, white and red at Christmas. My new one to try is navy blue with a sea foam turquoise, grey and coral…just have to try it out now!

  3. Love these cards 🙂 My fav colour combos are cool colours (usually teal, blue etc) with a pop of warm – like an orange or yellow splash. For the festive season I love going non-traditional with blues, silvers, whites – and off course a ton of silver glitter! 🙂

  4. I like the idea to end bullying. It is a terrible “disease.” My niece has tried to rally against bullying in her high school, but students just didn’t listen. I hope your idea of Kindness Challenge will help the victims especially.
I am so amazed on how creative you can be, so unique practically on a daily basis. I wish I could afford all those inks, stamps, etc that you constantly buy, so therefore the Giveaway I try. 😉
My go to colors are all shades of purple. Maybe with a mixture of blues and pinks.

  5. My favorite go to color combo has probably got to be greens, blues, and purples. They can be used all year long, and they can be light or dark. I think they just create such a nice color combo!! I love your card too, Jennifer!

  6. My “go to” color combination is blue & green. that combo can be masculine or feminine and can be used pretty much all year round.

  7. My go to colors are bright blues and pinks, I do a lot of watercoloring and love wild cloudy skys, sunrises or sunsets!

  8. I love these cards and trying new color combinations… But I always seem to be drawn back to the blue/green combo. Yesterday I tried gray and blue and I loved it!! Thanks for all these ideas and sharing kindness- I’m off sick today so I’m excited to use my time to think of others and get crafting!

  9. Love the card set and video. Thanks for sharing.
My go to color combo – I love different shades of purple, lavender and lilac.

  10. I love this card! It’s adorable and uplifting! My favorite color combination tends to be cooler, ocean colors…blues, violets, and greens. But I also love anything fun and rainbow!

  13. I’m going to look more closely at my small stamps now. I’m a red girl so anything that goes with red, like black and white or autumn colors are what I like to use.

  21. Loved finding a new way to use my small stamps! My go to colors are teal, blue & white! Blessings, Melitta
