Free Downloads, New Class + Giveaway
Hello! Today I wanted to share with you lots of good things… all that involve my friend Amy Tan. Amy is a scrapbooker/crafter/life-documenter/creative-inspirer who adds a lot of positive energy into the craft world. (Oh, and my Lila will hopefully marry her Jack someday.)
When I decided to do the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge, I decided not to reach out to many artists or companies to ask if they wanted to be a part of it. I didn’t want to add anything onto anyone’s plate. (So if you see someone or a company involved here it is because they heard of the challenge and reached out to me offering help. Good people!) However, I knew I needed to contact Amy. I knew the spirit of this challenge was something she would relate to. And I am glad I did.
VIDEO
Amy is known for her colorful, motivational, hand-lettered watercolor pieces she shares on Instagram. Well to celebrate the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge, she did a video showing how she created a kindness piece. It is such a happy video with easy tips on lettering. (And her outtakes at the end are awesome – I need to start including mine!)

While watching the video, please give Amy a thumbs up and subscribe to her channel! (Amy didn’t ask me to say this. I just feel very strongly that it is important to support other designers… especially when they are incredible as her.)
FREE DOWNLOAD
And what’s even better? Amy is offering FREE downloads of the kindness print and card she made in the video. Sweet, huh? You can get the FREE downloads HERE.
GIVEAWAY
Amy also said that I could give away the original of her kindness print here! For your chance, leave a comment below by 11:59pmEST on 11/10/15 telling me if you have ever tried hand-lettering. (I have and it really needs some work! lol. The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too!)
NEW CLASS
As you know, I think one of the best ways to enjoy the creative process is to learn as much as you can. Well, Amy just launched a great class today that I think may be of interest to some of you.
Amy and Jamie Waters (another big-hearted talent in the scrapbook world) are launching their first class together, The Creative Life: Documented! It’s a five part online workshop featuring over 50 never before seen projects that just went live. Amy and Jamie are sharing the best tips and techniques to help you get creative and squeeze more out of your precious time, so you can get more of life’s moments documented.
And as a special incentive, all students who register by 11:59pm PST on Saturday, November 7th will get a free mini book shipped right to their door. (You know I love happy mail!)
They made a video to tell you all about the class… HERE to learn more.
I will be back soon. Have a great day! (And thank you, Amy, for being so awesome. Love you.)
