Just stopping by to share some things in the crafty world that are worth checking out…

(2.) Create Event – I am so very excited to be teaching at the Simon Says Stamp Create Event in October! This event is huge – with lots of classes and more. I am honored to be teaching with several of my closest friends. I know many of you have signed up already and I can’t wait to see you!

(3.) MFT Superstar – My Favorite Things is having a fun cardmaking contest. Be sure to check it out.

(4.) Big 20% Off Sale – Butterfly Reflections is having 20% off storewide this weekend. Use the code LABORDAY2015 when shopping HERE. Happy shopping!

(5.) New Hero Arts – Hero Arts has a new website with a great card gallery. The perfect place to go for inspiration!

(6.) Awesome Embossing Folders – I have used the new multi-dimensional We R Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folders in several videos. (HERE and HERE.) Well, they just came out with a few more designs. I have them on my desk and ready to use. Yay!

  1. I’m thrilled about the new Distress color! I’ve been looking for a great dashing through the snow stamp and see Avery Elle has two. Thanks for sharing that.

  2. I love the new Distress Color! it’s awesome! I’ve been seeing stuff about The Ton all week! So many awesome releases, it’s hard to choose. Thanks for heads-up on the sale… I should have known that there would be many around the corner ;D

  3. I’ve already took advantage of that sale over at Vanessa’s shop! YAY! And, I love the new Distress Ink color!! I am anxiously waiting to buy it in the mini size though….I am dying over here to get my hands on it! And, those Next Level EF look awesome!! I’ve got them on my wishlist!

  4. I just place an order for some of the great new Avery Elle release. Thank you for highlighting it! I have been eyeing the Create Event, just don’t think it is going to happen this year, but would have loved to be spend some time with all of the creative people involved. I will put it on my list for next year.

  5. I found some great storage boxes for my stamp sets and the Avery Elle or Ellen Hutson storage pockets fit perfectly in them. For those of you that are limited on storage space and don’t have a dedicated cabinet for your craft supplies Rubbermaid Bento Storage boxes with flex dividers come in lots of sizes, lids and are stackable. I saw them in Target but I found the best selection on Amazon.

  6. I signed up for Simon Says Create again this year. It was fantastic last year and I am sure it will be again this year. I can’t wait!!!

  7. The WRMK Next Level embossing folders are just about the coolest things ever. Your technique for the faux metal look is one of the best tips I have seen.

There is a crafty web site, http://www.damasklove.com, that is great. I also really like Maqaroon. Her YouTube tutorials on making plush stuffed animals are just the cutest. Trust me on this! Thanks for sharing your crafty tips 🙂

  8. Thanks for the links Jennifer. Some of these things are already on my wish list and I splurged and bought the little fall mice from MFT this week. My husband is going to KILL me!!

  9. hey jen.. thanks for thinking of us.. subscribers:) i love it that you make links to places worth checking out:) heres the crafty i doin……. so much of our cards are femme cuz in my mind they are more naturally fun.. so i trying to pull off masculine card ;0 ;)… dont hav a pickup stamp so i drew n cut my own..rusty lookin n rounded contures…will b a side picture cuz its climbing rather steep hill and fall trees.in the bg…. along with this sentiment… ” keep truckin”.. shhh… that sentiment just landed there from my own brain.. draw it if u dont hav stamp ; ) it mor wrk tho!

  10. Hi Jennifer ~ Thanks so much for sharing and recommending items for us to watch out for. I got a roll of Scotch Permanent Mounting Tape (36 yards!!!!!) that you recommended several months ago when Amazon & WalMart were having a huge sale, kind of like Black Friday. I can’t remember off the top of my head what the price was, but it was at a HUGE discount. Even my husband was impressed with my bargain!! Thanks so much for sharing, I always appreciate your suggestions and recommendations. You (& Lila) are my gurus!!!

  11. I totally agree with you about the new Avery Elle monster set and wilted violet distress ink as I’ve already used them both for cards. I’ll have to check out some of your other suggestions.
