New Online Card Class GIVEAWAYS!

Happy day, everyone!

I wanted to pop in to let you know that we have a new class starting Tuesday at Online Card Classes. It’s called Mask-erade and it’s all about the wonderful world of masking. Masking is one of the best techniques for a stamper to master as it opens to the door for getting new looks with the supplies you have. Masking is also helpful for making easy-to-mail cards with the look of dimension.

Here is a bit of info about the class:

Masking is one of the most magical techniques in crafting—there’s nothing like peeling away a mask to reveal a cool design! And now Online Card Classes has created an entire class dedicated to this amazing technique: it’s time to unmask our creativity with Mask-erade!

Our all-star line up of instructors is ready to take you on a masking adventure! Join Kristina WernerJennifer McGuireShari CarrollDebby Hughes, and Laura Bassen for a week of techniques, cards, inspiration, and—of course—fun with masks! Gather your supplies (or take advantage of our student-only exclusive shopping discounts) and get ready to try everything from simple paper masking to liquid masking to freezer paper. Plus, we’re here to help you navigate the dos and don’ts of masking so you can achieve the best results possible!

Class begins May 26, 2015, and registration is open now!

How would you like to join us for class? I have a free spot for THREE winners! For your chance, leave a comment below by 11:59pmEST on 5/24/15 telling me your plans for this weekend. (The winner’s name will be randomly selected and posted on my “Winners page” after the giveaway closes. International folks are eligible, too! If you have already paid for class, you will be refunded.)

Memorial Day is coming up here in my neck of the woods. I really enjoy going with my family to the city parade for a chance to honor those who lost their lives. (We haves lots of veterans who take part in the parade.) I am thinking of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect us… and sending a hug to the loved ones left behind. xo

Take care!

  14. I definitely use basic masking but would love to learn to take it further. It’s been a great weekend. Friday night I met a bunch of other taekwando gals at a restaurant and we talked for hours. Sat. we went to IKEA to get our son a new “big boy” desk and bought a cha-ching amount of Avengers Legos for an early Father’s Day present. Yesterday we went and had Krispy Kremes for my birthday breakfast, ran a few errands, put together said desk, and went to our neighborhood’s Memorial Day party. Today, lots of chilling, laundry and the last of said desk. 🙂

  29. This weekend I plan on finishing up an assignment I have due for my studies! I really hope I can sneak in some creative time though.

  30. After having quite a few busy weekends we took it very slow and lazy the past weekend. As it is also becoming winter here in South Africa and it being the rainy season in Cape Town it did not take much for us to be lazy around the house. With the weather being as it was, it was the ideal time to be crafty. The kids painted and coloured while I made made some cards and also took the time to clean and organise my craft space.

That’s it. Have a great day and I hope you had an awesome Memorial day.

  31. Oh no… I think I am too late… 🙁
But I want to tell you what I did last weekend. 🙂 I had a looooot of time in my craftroom, making cards and scrapbooking layouts. We had a BBQ with my sister and her husband on sunday and it was fantastic. And yeah, I was shopping online some new goodies I “needed”. 😉 It was a fun and relaxing weekend. Hope the weather will be better here in Germany soon, so that I can craft in our garden.
Wish you a nice day, xo Julia
