  1. How to pick my favorite embellishment, final touches – shoot I try to dabble in a little bit of this and that, but I do like the look you showed of the Shimmer and Wink of Stella pen. I am still looking for the metallic threads you showed, and the glossy accents. Thank you Jennifer for showing us all these terrific products!

  2. I love mailing my cards! When I first started using handmade cards, I was surprised at how even my 6-10 year old nephews loved the fact that I made a card just for them. I take pictures of every card I make, so that I have something for reference in case I want to use that idea again later; that allows me to send them away without wanting to keep them.

  3. I mail a few, but not as many as I would like. I am horrid about actually getting them postal! so that means I have more boxes than I can count of cards that should have been sent long long ago. 😉

I do give quite a few of them away though.

  4. I try to photograph each one before I give them away in person, mail them or store them for future use… If they worked out really well I’ll make another one to keep – I find it’s easier to remake cards from the real thing!

  5. Awesome question … I typically make cards to give to people for whatever (birthdays, anniversarys, thank yous, etc.) so I most often mail them (or hand deliver them). I rarely make a card for a cards sake. However, I have recently tried to stock pile some Thanks cards, and have made a few to have on hand to grab quickly when I need one without the time to make one. I don’t hoard them at all. 🙂

  6. I do a little of everything! I used to sell my cards. I now mail them /give them to friends and family and do have some that are hard to part with. When I mail bulky cards I add an extra piece of card stock a little smaller than the card to protect the card :).

  8. I mail them to friends and family! When they open their mail box and say they received a card , I could see the smile in the face even through a phone call!

  9. I mail and give my cards to family and friends, depending on whether I will be seeing them or not. Thanks for all the videos!

  10. I do mail them…although for Thanksgiving I just brought the card with me. I do have a bunch in a box too. Always love your ideas. Thank you so much for the giveaway.

  11. I admit, I do hoard cards, but I also mail cards, especially for, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc. I have tended to do more single layered or less dimensional cards to go through the mail. Thanks for the tips on protecting cards in the mail, maybe now I’ll get more ‘adventurous’ with cards I mail.

  12. Often I sell my cards, sometimes I mail ’em – especially at the Holiday time))) But most often I give them to my friends and family…

  13. I mail my cards, share them when someone else in the family needs a card(recently went to a wedding shower where many of my cards appeared!), I make them for special orders, and have many in boxes in my studio for inspiration (or for reminders of what not to do again!)

  14. Thanks for another chance to win a great prize. I definitely do not hoard my cards. I photo each one in case I would like to make another later. Most of the cards I make, and I do make hundreds, go to Operation Write Home and Stockings from US. But, my family and friends do get their share also.

  15. I mail and hand deliver my cards. I’m not mass producing or crafting as much as I’d like to yet reason being I do not have my own place at the moment so my crafting items are stored at my sister’s. The cards or tags I do are usually tailored to the particular person(s) I’m giving to.

Love your videos and thanks so much for sharing so many tips and tricks.

  16. All of the above haha! Right now, I hoard them and sell them. I’m using up the last of my purchased ones (I may have a large-ish stash… sigh) before sending out my own. I do hand out more of the ones I make versus mail them.

  17. This series is so helpful. your cards always look so good, knowing what products have been “tested” by my favorite cardmakers will make my own cards better. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

  18. I use so many of these products and I love these videos that give us your favorite products. Since you use so many products it’s helps to know what works for you. I read all reviews before I buy a product since it helps many times to let me know if it will work for me. Thanks again for your many great videos. I hope your holidays are very joyful. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. By the way since I send out over 60 cards to friends and family I was very busy this year and knew I would not get them all made. I took a special one and took a picture. I then went to Sanpfish and I have order 40 on 110 lb paper. I have not done this before so I’m hoping they come out as great as I would like. At least they will get something I created. Hugs to you.

  19. Hi Jennifer, Most of the cards I make are for family and friends, but I also sell around 25 a month. I love your videos and designs. You are so helpful! Thanks for sharing your techniques.
