Video: Window Card
Hello. Last week I was a guest over on Scrapbook and Cards Today where I shared this simple and happy window card. Thought I should share in here, too…

Sometimes it is just fun to make a happy and simple card… and this one fit the bill. I used the adorable Sending Hedgehugs stamp set from Lawn Fawn and stamped the images with my favorite Copic-friendly black ink – My Favorite Things Licorice Hybrid. Before I began coloring, I did a Google search using “cartoon hedgehogs”… a trick that can be a helpful guide to jump start your coloring. (I share a few tips and tricks in this video using Copic markers, but if you’re interested in more information, check out the Copic Class over at Online Card Classes. Even though class is over, you can still sign up and have lifetime access to the content.)
I die cut a heart in the center of a piece white cardstock, and added some dimension using a dots embossing folder from Sizzix. This was the perfect window for my coloring.
That’s it. A super easy card using some favorite products that I’ve been excited to use. Oh – and it would be easy to make this a true window card by having the heart die cut window on the front of the card and have the colored images inside.
BRING A SMILE TO A CHILD
Scrapbook and Cards Today is collecting cards for sick children… and that’s where this card is going. If you are interested in participating, you can find info HERE. A great cause.
