VIDEO: Planner Organization + Stay Focused Blog Hop + Giveaways

Hi! Today’s post is a little different than most. Lately I have been getting a lot of questions about the planner I use. (I have shown it a few times on Instagram.) So I decided to share a video on it, along with some products I use with it. Also, this post is part of the Stay Focused Blog Hop… with lots of people sharing tips on planner organization.

Almost a year ago, my good friend Kristina Werner starting encouraging me to try the Erin Condren Life Planner. I was very resistant and skeptical… thinking it wouldn’t work for me. (I really wanted to be fully digital!) But in January I finally decided to give it a try. And I am so thankful I did. This planner has been life changer for me. I keep everything here – my work, my family appointments and my to-do list. And it has worked. Big time.

There are a few products that I use with my planner. Please keep in mind that I keep my planner simple, practical, clean, and not-needing-of-a-lot-of-time. There are some adorable planner nerds out there! Me? I just go with what is practical:

There are a few other products I mention in the video. All are linked in the thumbnails below.

By the way, if you use THIS link to purchase an Erin Condren Life Planner, Kristina will get a $10 credit. She has been saving up these credits and giving away big gift certificates on her blog. Fun, huh? I decided to use her link since she is the one who introduced me to the system. Also, I apologize that the video isn’t the best. I had one of those days…

  8. Love the planner, especially since you modified it using that great stamp set. I think I do need to get a planner together. I’m losing it with just me electronic one – last thing I want to do when I get home from work is check my computer’s calendar again, so I always miss personal things! I’ll look into those ons I think. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Thank you for sharing your planner tips. I love your organization tips! Thank you for the chance to win!

  10. I didn’t expect you to use the stamps to make the labels to replace the heading of each box! How Exciting! This does give other ideas on what other labels we can make for our planners. 🙂

  11. I really enjoyed this video. I like how you don’t need many products for your planner for it to look good.

  12. I am Definitely A Planner!
my friends make fun of me because I pull out my ‘calendar’ to jot down appointments, etc.

They are all techno Geeks and use their cell phones.

I like seeing it all right there in front of me—
    a month at a time!

  13. Thanks so much for sharing your planner with us. I have added a few things to my shopping cart as a result! The Waffleflower stamps look like they would make a fun, yet useful addition to my moleskine bullet journal.

  14. Thank you so much! I use a Franklin planner still, but you still shared some very, very handy tips to use with planners in general.

  15. I saw your video on youtube the other day and it completely inspired me to use many of your organizational tools (the circles, the format, the erasable pens). THank you for much needed inspiration!

  16. Loved the video and how you were able to transform the planner to what suits your needs with the stamps. Great tips.

  17. Love your simple take on planner entries. I never would have thought to color white stickers with Copic markers, Brilliant!!!

  18. I have an ECLP, but I watched the video because I am obsessed with it and couldn’t wait to see the stamps. Thanks for this awesome blog hop and post!

  19. As always you a full of great ideas! My planner is messy not practical at all. I’m forgetful so I often write a little journal page for each day. The ECLP is on my wish list now. Thank you so much!

  21. thanks for sharing. I’ve been looking for a planner and like what you showed. I really think that paper is going to be far more useful than my attempt at electronic.

  22. I too do not like online planners, I need paper, do use the month view a lot.
The biggest thing is to remember to check it each morning and night.
Got the pens, love them, white, round stickers not available locally (so far)
Thanks for the video, perfect timing, I am working hard on organization at the moment, whole house, garage, and calendar.

  23. I keep thinking I don’t need a planner because I have my phone, but I find myself looking for things all the time.
