Video: Stamping Shadows + Discount Code + Giveaway
Hi, stampers. Today’s video shares two fun things: creating stamping shadows and a peek at the newest colors of Color Theory Inks. Oh! And I have a great discount code and giveaway!

Today’s technique of “stamping shadows” is so-very-easy to do, yet gives really fun results. After stamping the first bold and colorful image, I stamped it again – slightly offset from the first image – without reinking or cleaning it. This gives a soft, shadow-like image behind that main image. This technique works great with large, bold images like this Studio Calico “Hooray” greeting. This lighter second image is called “second generation stamping” and works better with some inks than others. The ink that I found is best? Studio Calico Color Theory Ink. I also added some fun Studio Calico sequins (and a couple tiny random star sequins) with Matte Multi Medium and a Hero Arts Metallic Decor silver dot in the center.
